I gathered up my things; my coat, my umbrella, my bags, and the paperwork that needed my attention for this weekend. After shutting down my office, I walked out of my office and stepped onto the elevator. As I exited the elevator, I slipped onto my coat before I searched my pocket for my phone. Numerous notifications appeared on my phone. Business. Unknown numbers. Social media notifications that did not compare to what I was really looking for. I stepped outside; opening my umbrella once I stepped into the pouring rain. The streets were busy. Many cars rushed in hopes of getting home and out of the path of the lingering storm.
