Village of Gokstad.
The day of the great voyage had arrived and both clans had gathered on the jetty to wish all the benevolence of the Gods to the two young men and their crew. When old Sigrùn made her way through the crowd, holding two cages with a crow inside each, everyone fell silent as the woman approached the two young men.
"They will lead you where the Gods have decided you must go," she pronounced, entrusting the creatures to Ulfr and Thorald.
