We pulled up into a little rest stop. This place was so much nicer than any of the ones that Gabe and I had visited on the way to California from Pennsylvania. I wondered what it would look like to the employees running all the stores and stands in this building. It was one where there were a whole bunch of familiar fast food restaurants stuffed into a single building. Gabriel and I passed my father on the way inside.
