“What do you mean father?” I giggled, he was probably playing one of his pranks, but this was not a time for that, I missed this man so much that I could continue crying my lungs out.

“You are mistaken dear, I have no daughter, I have two sons and I recognize them,” he mouthed with a frown.

“Two sons?? You have been gone for four years and you can't recognize me” I raised my voice at him.

“If you would excuse me, I have a meeting with my boss,”

“Your boss is the Alpha King?” I asked in confusion.

“Yes,” he said with a smile and walked out of my front.

I followed him and grabbed him by the wrist…

“Are you suffering from amnesia?” I chuckled bitterly.

“You are Gabriel Lyn,

You are a member of the Gormon Moon pack

You are a strong beta and a sweet father

You were planning to take me and Mom on a vacation out of Weicity before you went missing when I was seven,

You…”

I burst into hot tears. He glared at me with the same disdain one might reserve for a lunatic who was showcasing her art.

“Who is this girl?” he asked one of the maids.

“The Alpha King’s guest, sir,” she answered.

“You’ve got the wrong person, Leave me be, or I will report to the alpha king of your misconduct” he walked off.

“What has the Alpha king done to you, father?” I bellowed at the top of my voice.

“What manner of insolence is this?” The alpha king appeared his voice a merge of calmness and fury.

“What did you do to my father?” I queried with irritation.

“What father? Have you lost it? He cast me a reprimanding look.

“Do I look mad to you?” I shot back at him.

“Take her to the dynasty’s section,” he ordered the maids.

“Nicholas, come on in, the meeting has begun,”

My father now bore Nicholas and could not recognize me.

It’s either he lost his memory or they were making this up.

One thing I know for sure, my father is no goddamn twin.

“Leave me, I will care for myself,” I told the maids as we got to the corridor of the dynasty's quarter.

“What was happening?” I wondered and pulled off the grimy uniform I was wearing.

I merely needed to see a star mark on his rib side to finally confirm if he was the one.

There's no way he would have done a dermabrasion on the mark Elder Beun, his mother sacrificed her two eyes while trying to protect every member of the Gormon Moon pack.

I walked around the centre of the Golden Stone twelve times, no one informed me that the wedding of an Alpha king involved so many nerve-wracking ceremonies, taking under advisement how innovative and short he is about his activities.

“What happened to a simple white wedding?” I wondered, the marriage procedures of the Alpha King seemed like a great deal to everyone.

I felt Zara, my wolf’s excitement as we carried out every progression of the ceremonies.

He made sure I went through all the formal and traditional procedures, I growled at him as I took my last bow of the acceptance sacrament.

I was now officially a member of the close-knit pack of the larger hierarchy in the wolf reigns.

An elder, Mrs Katherine gently placed an ornament on my head, beneath her hypocritical smile was a frown.

I watched the crowd’s weary expression, most of them seemed dejected that an ordinary beta was getting married to their alpha king.

How was I going to deal with them?

Not that I needed their love, but having so many haters and wilful eyes on me might jeopardize my revenge. I had to find the Alpha King's Weakness after this dramatic wedding. I also had to find out why he wanted me to be his wife. I was certain that he had something up his sleeve.

My eyes rolled from the alpha king to my father,

acting as the best man.

How was he so comfortable smiling and standing next to the man who killed his beloved wife?

The Alpha King walked to me as we exchanged talismans, sufficing a bonding method of commitment.

We also did a protection oath before the elders and council, augmented with the promise of protection.

Protection??

“I will take your life soon, no matter what it takes me”, I pondered and offered him a smirk.

“I now pronounce you husband and wi…” Mrs Katherine was cut off by a powerful breach.

Everyone’s attention was now glued to the sudden light that came from the entry overshadowing the coolness of the hall, making everyone squint their eyes.

“Stop!,” I heard a familiar voice. It was him.

Alpha Gideon of Gormon Moon pack. I opened my mouth in awe. Five men moved alongside him.

Was he invited to my wedding ceremony? Every fibre in my body wanted to retaliate with anger.

He walked towards the Alpha King and bowed to him.

His eyes darted towards me, his expression wild and unsettled, I could not fathom why he was here, glaring at me in such a manner.

“It is an honour to bow before you, we are grateful for your leadership and the strength you bring to our kind,”

I chortled at his humbleness, everyone feared the Alpha King.

No Alpha dared go against him Even if the other two great packs combined their forces, they would not be able to suppress Alpha King Alvin whose strength was far superior to their own, one of the things I've learnt In my short stay.

Only the moon goddess knows how I will get my revenge.

“Who are you and what makes you assume you can interrupt an important ceremony?” The Alpha king angrily requested.

“I'm Alpha Gideon Otega, the Alpha of the Gormon Moon pack, I rule the central side of the City of Weys,” he tilted his head downward again.

“Get to the point Alpha Man,” The Alpha King said impatiently.

“You are getting married to the wrong person,” he said, instantaneously.

I was hit with a jolt of shock and anger that shook my whole being.

The elders and guests started to murmur vigorously.

“What did he intend by that statement?

The anger radiating from the alpha king and my father was evident from where I stood.

What was his business with whom the Alpha king was betrothing?”

My mind went tense as I papproached him to stop the absurdity.

“The beta of the member of the Gormon moon pack and she is my mate,” his words echoed as everyone went silent after his statement.

“What in the world does he mean ??” my feet stopped dead on its track.

Did the moon goddess punish me with two formidable mates?
