Escaping

Sioux POV After my big reveal there is stunned silence. This is a secret I have been holding onto for years and years. It's why I was so afraid to come out in the first place. In human terms my own father was committing a hate crime, the man I had looked up to as a child was a monster. Most packs are not ran by monsters, but Goddessess tears was. Kaia and Ryan were still stood staring at me in silence, gobsmacked and shook to their very core from the looks on their faces. 'Come on. Say something someone.' 'How? Why? W-what? How do you know this? How long have you been collecting evidence Sioux? Why didn't you tell me about this?' Ryan asks, a glint of hurt in his eyes that I hadn't shared this with him. 'I had to keep it hush, and I'll explain it all later. We should probably get a move on and load up the truck since I need to fit a bike in there. I'll tell everything at Midnight Sun I promise.' I reply back. We still have plenty of time but I have an ominous feeling looming over me like something is waiting in a dark corner to jump out and bite me. 'Here, Kaia, can you bring me that bag? I need you to keep this with you at all times.' She snaps out of her moment and smiles at me, the concern etched on her beautiful face. I pack the last bag and we head down to the garage and start to load up the truck with my bike. Thank the goddess for werewolf strength, Ryan easily put the bike in the bed and we started loading boxes around it. We are all silent, moving quickly and efficiently as we load up box after box of my worldly possessions. My whole life broken into them, packed neatly away like I hadn't been in the same house for 21 years. I felt my heart breaking as I thought about never visiting my mother's grave again, or chipping in at the arboretum I had helped create, seeing the young wolves take their first shift and pack run. People I had known my whole life. Our silence was only broken with the noise of the boxes being loaded up. As we are down to the last few, which won't fit into the back of the truck, I start to load some into the front passenger seats when Ryan's sister Amy bursts through the door, making us all jump out of our skins. 's**t there you are! I have been looking everywhere for you! You need to go and go now!' She practically screams at us. For a woman so tiny she sure is loud. Standing at a miniscule 5 feet tall, Amy is the polar opposite to her brother. Where Ryan is tall, dark and masculine, Amy is petite with natural blonde hair, pixie like features and bright blue eyes. 'What is going on Amy, why are you shouting!' Ryan snaps back. 'It's dad. He told the Alpha you brought your mate here Kaia. They are coming right now. You need to leave!' She claims panicking. 'How do you know this?' Ryan asks calmly now. 'I overheard them at the training grounds just now. I ran here looking for you because I couldn't reach you. Your block was up and Sioux has been banished. You cannot wait any longer you need to leave!' 's**t!' I exclaim. I look at the truck and the F50, there is no way the last boxes are going to fit there. Amy is practically pulling her hair out. I run to the Mustang and throw the last few boxes in and grab the keys, throwing them to Kaia. 'You two, get gone now. I will hold them off in the interim. The F50 will catch up in no time. Sorry to thrust a car on you Kaia but I need you to go and go now.' I order, taking charge. Kaia nods at me, before rushing forward and capturing my lips. She presses her forehead against mine after the kiss and tells me to be safe. 'Amy you can't stay. If they find out you warned us they will kill you.' Ryan says hugging his little sister. 'Who said I wanted to stay? I know my mate isn't in this pack, and Daddy is not the man I thought he was.' she replies. Ryan looks at Kaia hopefully, 'It would be a pleasure to welcome you both to our pack. Now let's get moving. Amy jump in with me, I'm honestly a terrible driver so you might be better at this.' She said tossing the keys to her. The 3 of them jump in the cars and tear out of the garage, as the Beta, Gamma and Jermaine barge through the door. I can't believe my best friend is related to the man in front of me, or that my father wanted me to mate with Jermaine. The 3 men stand in front of me, wicked smirks across their faces. 'All alone Sioux? What happened to your little mate?' Jermaine snarls. 'Gone. Along with your children too Beta Graham.' I smirk at them. 'You little b***h! You corrupted them and turned them against their own pack? What kind of pathetic freak does that?!' He growled. 'I didn't do anything. Now let me leave as agreed, or the 3 of you are going to have to explain to my father why his Gamma, Beta and designate are all in the pack hospital.' I threaten them. Pushing out my full aura and strength, showing them a taste of what they will be up against. Graham growls and runs at me, the rage in his eyes showing through. He starts swinging punches at me wildly in his anger, arms flailing like a fish out of water. I dodge and duck and wait patiently for my opening, seeing it, I dip in and hit a pressure point in Graham's next, putting him out cold in one hit. Jermaine and his Gamma father are stood staring, both snarling at me but not moving. 'I don't want to fight you, just let me leave here like agreed.' I say to the two men. 'Leave now.' Jermaine growls at me, I know he is only there on his Alpha's command. I turn to the car and climb in, not waiting another second before I speed off and follow the others out of the packlands and back towards Midnight Sun's pack.
