Sioux POV

Well the patrol wouldn't listen, and my ferrari, phone and all my stuff are god knows where. I have no way of contacting anyone, and I'm stuck inside a dark dank cell with silver bars. Not ideal. I just hope Kaia manages to be told and comes and sorts all this out. Hardly the best Impression of your new Luna is it. I am not sure this day could really have gotten much worse. I tried to get some sleep whilst I waited, but with the sun starting to rise, and my stress through the roof, there was no chance that was happening.

I could feel shadow in my mind pacing and agitated. She didn't like being caged, and I had spent the entire booking in process fighting her for control. Last thing I needed was for her to go crazy on these people. All of a sudden she calms, before letting me know she could feel our mate near by. I sat up, eager to hear how Kaia was going to handle it.

Kaia POV

Yannis and his vampires had done the right thing in their minds, but the overall decision should lay with me as to how someone is handled when they are believed to be a trespasser. instead they made their own plans, and did Goddess knows what to Sioux.

Yannis being so ancient meant he no longer was affected by the sun, but the pale skinned vampire could still get severely burnt by the Sun's rays, they just wouldn't kill him. The first rays were peeking behind the clouds as we arrived and entered the jail. The staff all stood as they saw me enter, with my temper barely in check. Yannis followed meekly behind like a puppy with its tail between its legs.

'Where. Is. My. Luna.' I growled out between gritted teeth. The guards eyes went wide.

'L-Lu-Luna Alpha?'

'Yes. The red headed shewolf you have in holding. Bring her to me now.' I was shaking with rage, battling starla the entire time. She was mad, she didn't know who's head she wanted to take off first, the guards or the stupid bar b***h who refused to help my Luna.

'Right away Alpha!' said the quivering guard, before running off to release Sioux.

'Yannis. Pack heads meeting in 30 minutes. I expect you there. Its in the dungeon so you can shimmer in. I can't look at you right now, so get gone.' I said without looking, I heard a pop and he was gone. Last thing Sioux needed was to have to deal with the head of the covern who had her locked up instead of helping.

'Kaia! oh my goddess I am so sorry! I got lost then no one would listen to me!' Sioux shouted before running to me and wrapping her arms around me.

I inhaled her scent, instantly feeling calmer my wolf placated for now.

'It's OK gorgeous, let's go, get you cleaned up. No sleep yet though, we have an emergency assembly in 30 minutes.'

'It's fine Kaia, I am back with you, that's the main thing. At least we know your members have your protection at their hearts.' Sioux replied. She was right, they had only locked her up in the interest of protecting me. She would make an excellent Luna.

She smiled warmly at me, our hands clasped we left the building, with Sioux catching sight of her ferrari once more. She sighed with relief. 'I thought they nicked her and I'd never see her again!'

I chuckled, 'I would never let that happen.' She kissed my cheek before pinching the keys from my hand and hopping in to the drivers seat.

'Come on, I need to shower before this meeting.' Sioux orders as I get in, I smile as she takes off down the street, listening to my directions as we head back to the pack house.

Sioux POV

We finally get back and are met by an anxious Ryan and Amy. They both grab me into a hug, our 3 heads all pressed together. We have grown up as a team and we have so much to process that happened in the last 24 hours. Kaia touches me on the shoulder, the familiar sparks sending goosebumps across my skin.

'We need to head to this meeting. Amy and Ryan you are invited too. We have alot to do, but as soon as this is done you can all rest OK?'

We nodded and followed my mate through the house to the dungeon meeting room, especially chosen for our nocturnal members. I let Kaia walk in front so I could check out her ass. Its bloody perfect and pert in her jeans. She must have felt my eyes burning a hole in her jeans as she turns and catches me staring, winking at me and smirking as she opens the door. We are greeted by a room full of leaders from shifters and supernaturals that live in the pack lands. From wolves to Vampires, fae to witches and everything in between. I thought I could also smell a werefox, a particularly unusual and rare supernatural species, known for their cunning and stealth. Kaia's Beta smiles at me warmly and shows me, Ryan and Amy to our seats. I am sat on Kaias left, a place of pride and high honour. I can pick up little whispers of conversations, all excited to know about Kaias mate at last. I have never been shy before, but now with all eyes looking at me I felt the weight of them on me.

Kaia clears her throat before speaking. 'Thank you everyone for attending at such short notice. We have alot to discuss today, and our new additions to the table have had little to no sleep so I want to make this brief. This woman to my left is Sioux Delacroix. She is my fated mate and Luna, and originates from the Goddesses Tears pack. She has been banished following coming out to her father and revealing me as her mate. On her left are Amy and Ryan, also from Goddesses Tears, who left in support of Sioux. We will be having a welcome for them all tomorrow evening, where I expect all packs, covens and groups to be in attendance. Now that matter is out of the way, there is more to discuss.'

I watch as Kaia commands the room, she is not just an Alpha of her pack, but of the whole community. I am in complete awe of her. Once the meeting is over, a date for the Luna ceremony set and everyone assigned their tasks, Kaia takes my hand and leads me upstairs back to her room I was only in yesterday. She kisses me softly on yhe lips and rubs our noses against one another, before climbing into bed pulling me with her. As soon as my head hits the pillow and my mates arms are around me, I fall instantly asleep.
