Chapter 15“You know you really do look out of this world tonight,” Lee commented as soon as we were in the back of the cab.
“In a sexy goddess kind of way or a creepy alien from another planet kind of way?” I giggled and he rolled his eyes at me.
“Definitely a sexy goddess way,” he assured me and placed a hand on the bare skin of my thigh. I sat close to him, enjoying the warmth of his body close to mine and the way that his fingertips brushed up and down my thigh.
“So where are we meeting Dale?” I enquired. The cab pulled away from the kerb and began to make its way down the street. The plastic screen between our seats and the driver made the whole thing feel entirely more private.
“If I tell you that I’ll ruin the surprise.” Lee frowned. “I’ve managed to keep it quiet this long which
