Purple Jones never thought her dream of becoming a top-tier fashion designer would lead her to scrubbing hotel floors and dodging arrogant guests in a posh Valdorian five-star hotel. She is a bold, curvy, and unapologetically confident fashion designer with a dream bigger than her bank account. With no clientele except her loyal best friend Chantel, and a pile of unpaid bills,With no clients, little money, and a surprise six-year-old sister—Lila—left in an orphanage thanks to a deadbeat mom’s last-minute letter, Purple’s world is flipped upside down. She has six months to prove financial stability or lose the chance to gain custody of Lila forever.Struggling to keep her pride intact, Purple endures a toxic work environment filled with snide remarks, cruel body-shaming, and a perfectionist boss who seems hell-bent on breaking her spirit, a job she got from recommended by Chantel. It's toxic but the pay is enough to get her handle bills, so she stays but Purple refuses to back down—she's got curves, courage, and a sister counting on her who she is desperate to meet, having realised that she has a family.Desperate, Purple swallows her pride and takes a job as a hotel attendant at Valdoria’s most elite five-star hotel. It’s a world of polished smiles, impossible expectations, and silent cruelty—especially from her slim, stylish coworkers and cold-as-ice boss who openly body-shames her. Still, Purple keeps her head high, focused on one goal: earning enough to bring Lila home. One chaotic evening, she rushes to deliver room service and barges into the wrong suite—spilling champagne all over a very shirtless, very grumpy man. Turns out, he’s not just any guest. He’s Prince Damon of Valdoria: heir to the throne, international playboy, and recently returned to the kingdom after years of hiding from his royal responsibilities. One night, a wrong suite number and a spilled bottle of champagne change everything. The man she soaks is none other than Prince Damon of Valdoria—shirtless, brooding, and infuriatingly handsome. Instead of being furious, he’s intrigued. Purple is unlike any woman he’s met bold, sarcastic, and refreshingly immune to his royal charm.Instead of being furious, Damon is captivated. Purple is unlike any woman he’s ever met unfiltered, unpolished, and completely unimpressed by his title. Their banter turns into flirtation, and flirtation into a secret friendship. As Purple sneaks into the prince’s world, Damon sneaks into hers, helping her with Lila behind the scenes and watching her sew dresses in the basement after hours.Drawn into Damon’s world of luxury, palace drama, and royal expectations, Purple and the prince form a secret bond that turns from friendship into forbidden romance. He sneaks her into palace galas dressed in her own handmade gowns. She helps him see the world beyond the crown. Together, they dream about freedom, love, and building something real. But the dream starts to unravel when Damon’s political engagement to a foreign princess is announced. The royal family wants him to fulfill his duty. Purple is branded as a gold digger by the press. And when Lila’s custody hangs in the balance, Purple is forced to make an impossible choice: her heart or her sister. And love in a palace comes with a price. Damon’s engagement to a foreign princess looms for the sake of a political alliance. The royal council disapproves of Purple, and paparazzi start digging into her past. When a jealous coworker leaks footage of their midnight balcony kiss, Purple becomes public enemy number one. With his coronation approaching and his loyalty being tested, Damon must decide: will he follow duty into a loveless marriage for the sake of his kingdom, or risk everything for the woman who reminded him what it means to truly live?In a story stitched with heart, hardship, and hope. Purple must find the courage to fight for love, for Lila, and for herself. Now, Damon must decide whether to sacrifice love for the crown or finally fight for the life he truly wants or take on both.

Chapter 1: A Gleam of Hope!
Purple walked quickly to the sink to get herself a glass of water when her phone began ringing, suddenly. Immediately, Purple rushed to her phone, hoping that it was the Glow Fashion house that was calling her for an offer. Purple's hopes were dashed when she looked at the called ID and saw her best friend's name, displayed on the screen. "Hey girl!", Purple drawled slowly. "Okay, wipe out that smug off your face and can you please, sound happy to be alive?", Chantel fired immediately. Purple rolled her eyes and glanced at her phone to be certain that it wasn't a video call, and that Chantel didn't actually see her. "Now, how do you know that there's a smug look on my face?", Purple asked with a cunning grin. "That's easy! You usually have that smug expression on your face whenever you sound so grumpy", her best friend replied. When she heard Chantel's words, Purple chuckled lightly. She smiled softly at the way , Chantel could actually bring relief to her heart, especially after a sad event. "You're unbelievable, Chantel! You know that, right?", Purple teased her friend. "Oh I know, alright? And that is exactly why you love me even though, I don't remember the last time that you said you did ", Chantel replied. "Well, it's barely 8am and you will not believe, what I have gone through, already", Purple disclosed to her friend. "Oh dear! I'm curious to hear all about it but you can do that while we are having breakfast at the Bevy's Inn", Chantel stated. "Breakfast? Who's handling the bills?", Purple asked curiously. "Girl! Just get your butts over here because I have exciting news to share with you ", her friend replied. "Good news? How interesting! Because I haven't had a single good thing that has happened to me in a long while ", Purple complained. "Stop it! Just get over here ", Chantel urged her friend. "Fine! I'll be there in a jiffy ", Purple said hastily. Almost immediately, Purple ended the call and rushed down the glass of water in her hand, before rushing to the bathroom. A few minutes later, she stepped out of the bathroom, got dressed and applied light makeup on her face, before rushing out. As long as Chantel was insisting, for her to show up, Purple was ready to race through the traffic, just to meet with her. Less than an hour later, Purple opened the door to the diner, and instinctively walked to the corner of the diner, which was quite close to the window, without batting an eyelid. That was their favourite spot whenever they visited the diner, so she couldn't have gotten it wrong at all. Even though, Purple looked like she had been running miles down there, she still looked as stunning as ever. Purple was a very beautiful girl with the most beautiful shape ever, compared to her best friend, who was a slim Latina. Just as she walked past the tables, to get to the corner of the room where her best friend was waiting for her, Purple could hear the low whistles from the men. She was already used to getting attention from men because of her very curvy, chubby body that banged dangerously. Well, in the true description, Purple was plus size but she liked to brag to herself that she was chubby. Her stomach was impressively flat and it complimented her jiggy thighs and butts, in a very attractive way. Chantel who was trying to order some breakfast from the menu, quickly finished off with the waiter before looking up at her friend, when she arrived at the table. She smiled broadly at her friend who just reciprocated the smile with a slight grin and a nonchalant shrug. Purple took a seat before her friend and lightly squeezed her shoulders, before nodding at her in acknowledgement. "What's up, girl?", Chantel asked, sensing the cold behaviour of her friend, who was literally always bubbling. Purple shook her head lightly and immediately, grabbed the glass of water before her friend, gulping almost everything. "Okay...? You might be quite thick but I know you're actually not a glutton. So, what's wrong with you?", Chantel asked curiously. Her eyes ran down her friend's body, studying it carefully like something was amiss or wrong with her. "I'm sorry... I mean don't get me wrong. Breakfast with you is a wonderful thing but you sounded so enthusiastic. Purple raised her fingers, wiggling it gently, as a plea that her friend should stop with the questions, until she was done drinking the water. "I'm good! Anyways, why are we here?", Purple asked. "Really ? Since when is it a bad thing, for us to have breakfast together?", Chantel said, feigning like she on the phone", Purple explained. "Well, that's true but I'm actually having fun with you. Is that mutual or not?", Chantel shrugged. "How can you be asking this right now?", Purple said with her mouthful. "Don't I have the right to ask?", Chantel retorted. "Okay fine! It is mutual, alright. But you know what I mean, Cee. What's up?", Purple asked, taking another sip of her milk. Purple's eyes were glued on her friend, waiting for the exciting news that was already giving her shivers. "Fine! I get it. Well, apart from enjoying breakfast with my best friend, I come bearing good news", Chantel announced in excitement.
