CHAPTER THREE

1035 Words
Bella stood there as the god of a man reached out placing his right hand on her left cheek. He looked at her so lovingly. As if nothing on earth mattered more than her. Hanson was in their mind saying 'Samson let me talk to her.' Samson begrudgingly spoke saying "We will speak soon my love. I Promise!" Then to Hanson he said 'If you hurt them in any way. I will kill you myself, even if it kills me.' Hanson was shocked could she really be everything Samson said. Shaking the thought away he took back over. As he lowered his hand he asked "What is your name, mate?" Hearing Samson's snarky remark 'I told you her name i***t. I swear mom dropped you when you were born.' Hanson ignored him waiting for an answer. Finally, she said "Isabella Donavon, listen before you accept us we need to go for a run. Seriously though, you are extremely gorgeous. I will try to keep my hands to myself if you do. Oh my god now I'm rambling. I have no idea why. s**t, okay I'm shutting up I promise." He couldn't help it Hanson laughed so hard. Bella looked so embarrassed. He tried to calm her down by saying "It's okay, I will do my best. I am Hanson Tanner by the way." Taking her hand Hanson began leading Bella away when she told him "I need my groceries." He looked back at her grinning as he said "Oh yeah sorry." His voice was so deep and sexy. 'Am I actually wet right now.' she thought. Of course, Xavia had to say 'Yes we are. I told you he was sexy as hell. Just his voice, just hearing his voice.' Bella rolled her eyes at Xavia's comment. Hanson gave her a questioning look. To which she said "Oh, sorry Xavia is going crazy." Hanson immediately stopped in his tracks. He almost looked scared. Bella remembered that look all to well. She told him "Look if you want to reject us. Just do it, I don't want any problems." Hanson blinked as Samson was losing his s**t inside their mind. 'You will not reject our mate. I will f*****g kill us both. Do you hear me.'Samson said in a dangerously calm voice. Both Samson and Hanson would almost whisper hiss their words. When they were beyond angry. Hanson looked her in the eyes saying "We do need to talk but not here." Then he asked "Are you almost ready?" Bella nodded pushing the cart toward the register. After she paid for the groceries they loaded them in the car. Hanson had forgotten all about the take out at the restaurant. Samson definitely didn't care to go get it because that b***h stank. Hanson's mind was racing. She couldn't actually be a Bloodwolf. There had never been a record of a wolf knowing who their mate was before meeting. He had so many thoughts running through his head. It wasn't until he heard Bella ask "So where should we talk?" that he was able to concentrate. Hanson took a minute to think before saying "Well I am staying in a motel. So, your place would probably be best." Bella agreed saying "Alright" while thinking 'White wolf or not. I'll snap your neck if I have to.' Xavia growled 'You will not kill our mate. He is not going to hurt us. Samson won't allow it.' Bella wished she had Xavia's level of trust in their mate. They arrived at Bella and Xavia's little house about fifteen minutes later. Hanson helped carry the groceries in noticing that nothing was ready made. As they walked through the living room into the kitchen. He realized she didn't even own a microwave. 'Who doesn't own a microwave' he thought. Bella set the bag in her hands down on the table saying "You can have a seat. I just need to put these away." Hanson nodded taking a seat at the small table near the sliding glass doors. As she began putting things away he simply watched her. She had bought plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Along with chicken, turkey, and fish. There was also what looked to be a pound of ground bison. "Do you enjoy cooking?" he asked. As if it wasn't obvious. She turned responding "Yes, it was something my mother and I always did together. She taught me a lot of different things." He noticed there was a mixture of happiness and sadness in her voice. Realizing her mother must have died. He decided to ask "What about your dad? Didn't he teach you anything?" Bella's face became an emotionless mask. As she said "No he wasn't around. He rejected my mother after I was conceived. She said he wanted to marry the Alpha's daughter." Bella had never been one to not tell the truth. She had secrets but if someone asked she would answer. Hanson decided to be quite. He had hit a nerve and didn't want to get off to a bad start. Once she finished putting everything away she sat across from him. She began by saying "I saw the fear in your eyes when you heard my wolf's name." Then she asked "What is it you want to say?" He instantly realized she thought he was there to reject her. So, he asked "What does your wolf look like?" Bella sighed heavily before saying "I'm sure you know. I mean I don't know about Samson but Xavia won't shut the hell up about him. Not since we first shifted." Hanson was stunned into silence. That had never happened in his entire life. Now it had happened twice in the span of an hour. Bella continued "Look, I know that Samson is pure white. The only male wolf of that color in all the world. I also know that Xavia and Samson are eternal mates. They have been for the past eight hundred years. Finally, I know that Xavia is the only Bloodwolf the moon goddess ever created. So, I'll ask again what do you want to say?" Meeting his stunned look with a blank stare as if this was an everyday conversation.
