BLOOD WOLF: VOLUME ONE

CHAPTER EIGHT

They spent the rest of the week getting to know each other better. Bella had given her notice at the library. It would take at least a month for them to return. Then there was the matter of getting the pack settled in. She had come to terms with the fact that she and Xavia were going to be the luna of a pack.

Hanson checked out of the motel. The day after their conversation it became apparent that he was not going to leave. So Bella suggested that if he was going to stay with her. He might as well get all of his stuff.

They were sharing a bed but hadn't had s*x yet. Something that had begun to become increasingly difficult for both of them. Especially, considering it was all Xavia and Samson talked about. The house seemed to get smaller everyday with all of the s****l tension.

On Thursday Hanson received the title to the land just outside of Idanha. The property officially belonged to the Lupos pack. Hanson was ready to go but Bella wanted to wait until Sunday. So, he agreed to wait. Helping her pack her things while she was at work.

Friday was Bella and Xavia's final day of work at the library. Bella was extremely nervous about meeting their new pack. Hanson had assured her that they would love her. She had serious doubts though. Hanson hadn't even seen Xavia yet. How could he say they would love her. Their aura was even stronger while in their wolf form. Bella told Xavia 'Xav we are going for a run tonight.' Xavia was ecstatic, she said 'Yes, I knew I loved you.'

Bella needed to see if Hanson could handle Xavia's aura before they left for Nebraska.

That evening when they left work. Bella called Hanson. When he answered she said "We are going for a run. I need you to join us." Hanson understood what she meant and knew it was a test. He simply responded "Okay, where should we meet." She told him where to meet her. Then they hung up.

Fifteen minutes later they met up on a highway just outside of town. As Hanson stepped out of his car. Bella walked over to him saying "I think it's time you see Xavia. She is extremely excited to actually see Samson again. I can't get her to stay still." They both chuckled though Bella's was more of a nervous one.

They made their way into the woods. As they came upon a clearing Bella stopped next to a tree. She took a look around, making sure that no one else was near by, before she began to undress. Looking at Hanson she said "Wait for me to shift before you do, okay." Hanson nodded absentmindedly as he watched her get naked. He wasn't completely focused on her words at that moment.

Hanson had just finished packing the last of the dishes when Bella called. She wanted him to meet her for a run. He locked up the house and drove to the location she had given him. Samson was pacing inside their mind. Finally Hanson asked 'What is wrong with you?' Samson continued pacing as he answered 'I can't wait to see Xavia again. It's been way too long. Don't you dare try to run away when you see her. I know we are an Alpha but her aura is much stronger than ours. That's why the Egyptians treated her like a goddess. They considered her the goddess of war.'

Hanson was in shock. How could she have been considered a goddess yet never recorded in the history books he wondered. Samson responded to his thoughts saying 'There are a lot of women in Egyptian history that were dismissed because of their gender. Hell there are women in all of history that were dismissed.' That was an undeniable fact. Hanson said 'I guess you're right. I promise not to hurt her. You should know by now I would never do that.'

Hanson pulled off to the side of the highway as soon as he saw Bella's car. After following her to a clearing he watched her undress fighting his instinct to take her right then and there. Aside from a few small scares. Her skin was flawlessly tan. Her breasts made his mouth water. With every inch of skin she uncovered it became harder for him to think. Which wasn't the only thing that became harder. Then when she got down on her hands and knees. Hanson had to turn away from her.

Once he heard her bones realign he turned back. Seeing her hair become the color of blood. Bella had her eyes closed as her face reshaped into that of a wolf. He watched in awe as the hair on her head began to spread across her body. Then with a slight shake Xavia opened her eyes. Hanson took a few steps back. The power radiating off of her nearly knocked him over. Her eyes were literally glowing light blue marbles inside her head. He had never felt so nervous in his entire life.

Xavia lowered herself to the ground. Hanson had, had to look up at her when she shifted. Now they were eye to eye. Laying her head on her front paws she waited for him to come to her. She wasn't going to be the first one to move. Though, she really wanted him to hurry up so she could go for her run.

Finally after a few tense moments Hanson took a step forward. He placed his hand on the side of her face. Sounding slightly nervous he said "You are so beautiful, terrifying but beautiful." Then he stepped back and began to undress himself.

Bella was in the back of their mind drooling over the view. As Hanson removed his shirt. She, sadly, couldn't see the lower half of his body because of the height difference. However, his broad shoulders and perfectly sculpted chest made her wet. It wasn't the first time she had seen him shirtless but the sight never failed to turn her on. It was amazing even to her that they hadn't had s*x yet.

Xavia stayed put as he shifted. Once he had she began rubbing herself against Samson. Ignoring Bella telling her they were only going for a run. Samson was no small wolf he was only about half of a foot shorter than Xavia. His pure white hair perfectly complimenting his green eyes.

Suddenly Xavia had completely blocked Bella out. Bella tried yelling 'YOU HAD BETTER NOT!' but it was no use.
