Chapter 42 Fog billowed out from the concourse entrances and onto the baseball field. It spread across the grass, coating it in a heavy, freezing mist. Eve focused on it, searching for a part of it that was darker than the rest. Boaz was hidden within it somewhere. “It’s just a spell,” Lucien said next to her. “I think I can get rid of it.” The fog parted and surrounded them. It slid across Eve’s skin, making her jump.
