My eyes widened in clear surprise but I quickly suppressed my emotions showing no hint of what I felt. I felt weirdly surprised, but more than that I felt shocked. I smirked mentally. This IS an interesting place after all. Looking at me with her pure and innocent eyes, she smiled briefly and slowly stood up from the extravagant bed I was on. She turned and without saying a single word, Eleanor made her way towards the door. “Take good care of her”. There, simple and sharp. It was strict, but had maturity in the tone, showing a hint of elegance. She glanced towards me once more and said her goodbyes. I slightly bowed, making my intention simple. She immediately understood and left just as abruptly. As soon as she left, I closed my eyes once more thinking about my vision. Right now in this world, I must find someone or become someone who has a reputation and have a solid support that can provide me with necessary information, equipment, and sufficient needs for living purposes.
Third Person
One thing Cora was perfect at was detecting schemes and hidden danger while come up with the best countermeasure to deal with the situation. She was, after all, the only one protecting her siblings on Earth. Becoming nostalgic, a tear rolled down her white cheeks. The sun was setting, and the night began to spread its shade. Cora was exhausted, but she couldn’t sleep. How could she? It was her siblings that she was talking about. They couldn’t manage on their own. Deep in thoughts, her eyelids began to waver and soon they became heavier by the moment for sleep. Eventually, she gave in.
All night, she dreamt about how her last bit of family was killed or starved or had no shelter. The more she tried to go near them, the more she would see them being tortured by reality’s abyss and darkness. “SOMEONE SAVE THEM!!!!!” She woke up screaming and gasping for breath. She felt awful. She didn’t want to be stuck in this impossibly realistic fantasy world. She just wanted to home.
The doors opened with a massive swing and someone came running in ASAP. It was very dark inside, but the outside light illuminated the massive room. It……. Was a girl. A girl in an extravagant dress that had a worried and concerned expression on her face looked at her with pity. Her sorry state deserved it. She just wanted to go home. She couldn’t control it or keep it in anymore. So she let it out. She screamed, shouted, yelled and cried with all her might and the Queen-to-be of Arthemia held her in her hands and hugged Cora tightly.
She cried and cried extremely loudly, but as the walls were soundproof, there were no huge disturbances outside. After a while, she gradually calmed down. Her intense wailing came down to tiny sobs and weeps. Slowly, she regained her senses. “Thank you,” She said. Eleanor smiled, and replied, “It's okay”. They lay in bed hugging each other as tightly as they could, and as a result, fell asleep.
