"Don't be afraid, I'm here to guide you. You won't get lost." Damian comforted and took her hand. He directed her towards the entrance of the house and they were greeted at the door by a middle aged man dressed in a chauffeur's suit.
"Good day sir." The man greeted with a slight bow. "Good day Butler Francis." Damian greeted back. "I see the madam is back." Butler Francis said giving Rachael the stink eye.
"Indeed she is. Please show her to her room as she is having slight trouble with her memory and do treat her with much respect, you know how important she is to me." Damian said, the sarcasm so evident in his voice.
Poor Rachael never noticed, in fact, she was happy that the King no longer seemed angry with her.
"Yes sir." Butler Francis said, gave a slight bow and gestured for Rachael to follow but she refused to move an inch.
"Your Majesty, I'm scared." She whined. "Oh come now, you don't have to be scared. With Butler Francis you're in good hands." Damian assured and she followed the older man reluctantly. She was taken to a large empty room. "This is your room and that's your bathroom over there." He said and pointed to a door before turning to leave.
"But....." She tried to say but he cut in rudely. "No buts look here Alicia, I know you're only pretending to loose your memory. You're such a vile that you'll do anything to achieve your selfish goals. Master Damian has been so nice to you from the beginning and even now, you still repay him with pain, shame and deceit. Your days of pretenses are numbered, Alicia. Just you enjoy it while it lasts." Butler Francis said rather rudely and left, slamming the door behind him.
"What exactly did I do so wrong that everyone seems upset with me. Even people I've met just yell at me for no reason. I hope they don't still don't still think I'm a witch." She spoke to no one in particular.
She yawned suddenly. "I feel really tired maybe a bath and some sleep wouldn't be so bad." She said yawning some more before heading for the bathroom.
As she entered the bathroom, she wondered if she was lost because it looked so different. She saw and touched everything from the shower and hand shower to the bathroom sink, the toilet and the huge Jacuzzi. As she passed the large bathroom mirror, she stopped dead on her tracks. She walked back to the mirror and starred at herself in it before she nearly screamed her lungs out.
