Stop Pretending

"I see you're already causing trouble." The gorgeous man in black said. She looked up and her eyes widened, the man in front of her looked exactly like the King, only that he was strangely dressed in an all black attire as if he was in mourning. Nonetheless, he still looked so handsome.

"Your Majesty why are you all dressed in black? Did someone die? By the way,have you come to apologize? I told you I was innocent." She said,her chin up. The man only gave her a death glare as the doctor and nurses stared at her with puzzled expressions.

Just then,a woman in a gorgeous dress showed up holding a file. "Alicia I've had it with your drama. Now sign these papers so we can part ways once and for all." The man said taking the file from the lady and handing it to her.

"What's this?" She asked looking at it oddly. "Of all the lies to come up with,you really want to pretend you can't read?" The Lady asked mockingly.

"I'm not pretending. I really don't know what it is. Uncle and Aunt never sent me to school like other kids so I do not know how to read." She pouted.

The man glared at her viciously and grabbed hold of her wrist roughly. "I've had enough of your silly games ,now sign them so we can end this marriage." The man said harshly.

She winced. "You're hurting me." She cried out and he was shocked to see tears in her eyes,he freed his grip a little.

"Mr Knight, please leave her hand,she just woke up from a coma and must still be in shock. I'll conduct a few tests to see if we have anything to worry about." The doctor said and he nodded.

"Dammie, She's up to her old tricks. She's just pretending because she doesn't want to sign them. After all, she'll loose everything if she does." The Lady who's name was Olivia, said.

"I won't let that happen." He told her and picked the papers up. "Alicia, I don't care if you f*****g lost your memory but we're ending this marriage today. Just sign these divorce papers and everyone will be happy. I don't want to have to force you." The man said gruffly.

"Your Majesty please stop yelling, you're scaring me. Besides, I don't know what you're talking about. How can you divorce me when we're not even married? And my name is Rachael,not Alicia. Your Majesty, you should really call a doctor. You might have caught hay fever, it is the season after all. Rachael said nonchalantly and the man's hand clenched in fists. " You're really testing my patience, aren't you?" The man,Damian Knight said between gritted teeth.

"Mr Knight, please calm down. You'll have to settle your private matters elsewhere. I have to perform a check up immediately to know if she's completely out of danger." The doctor advised and he stormed out,followed behind by Olivia.

He tried to check her pulse but she smacked his hand off. "Don't touch me,the King was very angry just now. I know he must have told you to do something to me." She rushed looking at the doctor suspiciously.
