Evelyn’s POV
Mikael walked into the room and said to me. "Evelyn, I know this is hard for you. But you have to be strong for your baby. Lance was hit by a pillar to protect you, but luckily, his head was only slightly injured, and we quickly rushed to the factory to rescue both of you. You don’t need to be too sad, Lance is safe for the time being."
I stopped crying and asked Mikael in a hoarse voice. "What the meaning of your word? Why is Lance in a coma?"
Mikael sighed: "There's a slight problem here. Lance remains in a coma because of some blood clots in his cerebellum caused by the impact. It's hard for doctors to tell if the bruise is life-threatening in the future."
