Elena That’s it. I’m done. Watching Mike roll away on that bike from his mom’s house, I scold him for softening me. How dare he! My guard was slowly breaking down. At least now, I have a good reason to stop it from crumbling at his steel-toed boots. With a huff, I leave the family room window to bang the poor cupboard doors of Carol’s kitchen.
