Boss's prisoner

The world was dark and she could hear noise in the distance. She tried to listen but her head felt like it would split. Her eyes felt heavy and she was feeling pain all over.

She waited for a while,for everything to start getting clear,she tried to remember but her mind was foggy. She wanted to move but she felt heavy. The noise in the distance started coming closer like a train rushing towards her.

Suddenly she felt something wet on herself and she began to feel cold all over. The cold was so much that her teeth were chattering,finally something was moving.

She tried to open her eyes once again and she almost succeeded. She tested for a while and tried to listen in but she could not make sense of anything. Her throat felt like a desert."Wa....w..water...waterrrr." She silently mumbled like a prayer."I think she's awake." Everyone in the room turned to her. They saw her lips move but couldn't make sense."Hawk,move close and listen to what she is saying."

A huge man moved close to her and leaned in."Water," she repeated again."She wants water." The female among them moved,she grabbed Nyx's face roughly through the cloth mask placed over it,"you want water?I'll give you water."

She grabbed the gallon of cold water that was to be used for her torture and began to pour it all over her face.

Nyx was able to get some water in her mouth but at some point,she began to gasp for air." You'll kill her. Stop it,Blade". The woman didn't stop and continued until the huge man took the keg from her.

"Orders must be obeyed." A man who seemed to be the superior among the three said. Blade,stood with her arms to her back and her head down,"I'm sorry super..." Nyx's laugh echoed through the room.They all turned to the woman whose arm were chained to the wall. She was made to stand with her hands raised high and spread wide.

The man went to her and took off her mask and her hazel eyes met his brown ones. He was stunned for a moment when she looked up at him and laughed,she looked so beautiful. He looked away,embarrassed. Blade saw this interaction and frowned. She did not like this woman.

Nyx looked around the room and finally saw the three. The room was all white and she hated it. She looked at the three before her in a condescending manner. There was a very hungry man,with bald head and full beards. The woman was Asian,thin eyed and always frowning.

The man before her looked Caucasian but she could not tell for sure."What are you laughing at?" Blade hissed. Nyx smiled,happy she was getting on the woman's nerves. It has been a while since that happened.

"Y'all are cute. Blade darling,you should never disobey your superior,I could have been killed you know?" Blade clenched her fists and unclenched them,an action that caused Nyx to smile." Bulk,thanks for saving me,you're my favorite now."She looked up at the man before her,"Could you move to the left a little?" His frowning face annoyed her. He refused to move,causing her to smile."It is Hawk" She heard the huge man say.

She smiled,as expected,he cared what people say about him."I prefer Bulk, suits you,"turning to the man before her,she said,"who are you? And why are you standing so close to me?"

Before the man could talk,Blade interjected."He's the highest assassin in the world underworld". Nyx chuckled,she hung her head and her chuckle sounded like it was from hell.She looked up suddenly and Blade felt a child down her spine."Who do you think I am then? Also,do not interrupt when your superiors are talking. Do you want me to discipline you?"

Mustang stared at the woman before him. She seemed to not be bothered about being captured. Who was this woman? They had not been able to gather any intelligence against her,it was like she didn't exist.

"I want to sit down." Blade smirked,"No".

Nyx smiled at her,"it wasn't a request." The three in the room were fascinated. This woman was arrogant,maybe even more than their boss. She was absolutely nonchalant and always looked triumphant.

"Release her," Mustang said and took a seat. Blade wanted to protest but the look on Mustang's face stopped her. She begrudgingly went to Nyx and released her cuffs. The woman's hands fell to her side and she began massaging her wrist and swinging her joint, when she felt better,she turned to Blade. This woman seemed to hate her a lot which was understandable but she slapped her still.

The small resounded across the room and everyone was shocked. Without waiting for her response, Nyx when to sit.

"Who are you?" Mustang asked, immediately going straight to the point."I am hungry. I will not be saying anything till you feed me. I want Blade to get me food." Mustang looked at Blade,who looked horrified but she had no choice but to go."Try to not poison me,"she called out.

Hawk stop beside Mustang,he glared the woman opposite them,she was deadly and he couldn't let his guard down."Who are you?". Nyx ignored him amd started playimg with her nails.

If she had been a lone ranger,she would be panicking but she knew her guild will come for her once they noticed her absence. She didn't know how long she was out but she calculated that it should be enough for them to notice her absence.

She was annoyed at her self for falling into that rich man's trap. She had been careless but not anymore. She would stall these people for as long as she could. They would not get a word from her. And she said she was going to kill Kyle for giving her wrong information. Technically,he was right about the location,there was no way he would have

known about the trap but she needed someone else to blame.

She blamed that stupid man too. All he knew was how to call her 'little one'."How long was I out for?". Mustang was about to answer when he received an instruction. He stood up and started walking away. Nyx smiled,she bet her men were here already.

Mustang had thought that if he played by her rules,maybe she would crack but she seemed unbothered. Maybe she thought she would be saved,he sneered at the thought. It was just a pipe dream. No one on Earth would ever find her here,not even the best hackers. He would just have to see how long she can last. She was the boss's prisoner after all and she had attempted to kill him.
