Gabriel I watched with my fingers curling into fists as Arjun tugged her out of the library, her hand secured in his as if they had done so hundreds of times before. “I fear your friend is about to pop a vein or two, darling.” The dry remark from the Indian beauty had me looking back at the couple now standing before me, watching me like they couldn’t decide what to do with me and the amusement lingering in their eyes only had me more on edge because I believed it was on my expense. “No. I think he’s about to commit a murder by the looks of it.” Ryan drawled. “How long are you planning to stay?” I asked, barely managing to sound like a normal human being. Where the hell did they go? If Arjun tried anything— “As long as it takes for you to tell us what are your plans for our friend.”
