Doppleganger is a apparition or double of a living person. A doppleganger isn't someone who just resembles you, but is an exact double right down to the way you walk, act, talk and dress. Lastly, we all have a doppleganger out there.

This is just one of my imaginations and it is not true...

story 001. Mom, story 002. Attic, story 003. That wasn't me, story 004. My Daughter, story 005. My Evil Twin story 006. Sister
STORY 001. One morning, my brother and I were playing in the kitchen of our old house. We saw our mother come walking down the hallway. She had an angry look on her face. We thought she was coming into the kitchen, but just as she reached the door, she turned left and went into the living room. A few seconds later, we heard my mother’s voice. She sounded urgent and she said, “Will you come here? I need help. Please come here.” We rushed into the hallway, but when we looked into the living room it was empty. “Mom?” we started calling out. “Mom?” but there was no answer. We searched the whole downstairs, but there was no sign of her. Then, we went upstairs. When we got to her bedroom, we found her asleep in bed. We woke her up, but when we asked her what she wanted, she didn’t know what we were talking about. She said she hadn’t got out of bed at all that morning. STORY 002 When I was a child, we lived in an old, 2-story house with an attic. One day, I was playing alone in the attic when my older sister came up. She had a strange expression on her face and she didn’t make any noise. She was just standing there, staring at me without blinking. Then, in a calm, monotonous voice, she told me I needed to hang out the attic window. For whatever reason, I obeyed her. I opened the attic window and got out, hanging on outside with my hands. My father was outside in the garden. He happened to look up and saw me hanging out of the 3rd story window. He started yelling and ran into the house. He ran up the stairs, into the attic and managed to grab onto me before I fell. He pulled back inside and asked me why I did that. I told him I did it because my sister told me to. The strange thing was, my had never been in the attic. She had been downstairs, helping my mom in the kitchen the whole time. My dad had actually passed by my sister and my mother in the kitchen when he was running upstairs to save me. There are only two explanations. Either my whole family is lying to me, or a doppelganger took the form of my sister and tried to trick me into killing myself. STORY 003. When I was 15 years old, my family lived in a creepy old house. Early one morning, I woke up suddenly to find my mom bending over me, staring at me intently as if she was watching me sleep. The light in the room was very dim, but I could see she was wearing a blue top and black pants. She was barefoot and her hands were on her knees. She had a very curious look on her face, as if she was examining me closely. I just turned over and went back to sleep. When I got up, a few hours later, my mom was in the living room, watching TV. I noticed something that struck me as odd. She was wearing a completely different outfit. “Why did you change?” I asked. She looked at me, puzzled. I told her I had seen her watching me sleep, but she had no idea what I was talking about. Finally, it was like a light went off in her head, and she said with a gasp, “Oh God Melissa… That wasn’t me.” STORY 004. One morning, my daughter asked if she could go to her friend’s house. I called her friend’s mom, who said she would come pick my daughter up and she would also drop her home that afternoon. When she arrived, my daughter went off with her and I started cleaning the house. A few hours later, I was in the bathroom, cleaning the toilet, when I heard the front door open and close. Then, I heard the familiar sound of my daughter’s footsteps walking up the stairs. The bathroom was at the top of the stairs, so I saw my daughter walking down the hallway and into her bedroom. I only saw her from behind, so I couldn’t see her face. I asked why she was home so early, but she didn’t answer me. I thought she probably just didn’t hear me and I continued cleaning. I heard her footsteps go down the stairs again and I heard the front door open and close. When I finished cleaning the bathroom, I went downstairs. As I passed the front door, I noticed something strange. The front door was locked from the inside. The bolt was on. My daughter didn’t have a key. How could she have gotten into the house? I went around my home, checking all the doors and windows, but they were all firmly locked. Puzzled, I picked up my phone up and called my daughter. She was still at her friend’s house. She said she had been there all day. By this time, I was scared to de*th. Who the h*ll just walked through my house? It had to be my daughter. I had seen her. I really tried to convince myself that I had been hallucinating or something, but I know I wasn’t. I don’t want to tell my daughter about this. I don’t want to scare her, but I know what I saw was her doppelganger. STORY 005. This started happening when I was 15. One weekend, my parents and I went to my Grandma’s house for dinner. My uncle was there too and he was very angry with me. He claimed he had run into me the day before and he had a bone to pick with me. He said he was walking around downtown when he saw me with a group of teenagers, swearing at random people in the street. He said he walked up to me to tell me off and I started swearing at him. I told him it wasn’t possible. I was a shy teenager and I would never have done something like that. Besides, I hadn’t even been downtown the day before. My uncle insisted that he had seen me and the more I denied it, the angrier he became. My parents and my grandma sided with him. They were all furious with me and refused to believe it was a case of mistaken identity. They almost had me convinced that I might have some kind of mental illness, like a split personality and I didn’t even know that I had done it. I let the whole thing go, but it really bothered me that I had been accused of something that I didn’t do. A year later, it happened again. My mom came home from work and was very angry with me. She said her friend had been on a bus and she saw me sitting at the back of the bus, swearing at people. She came down to give me a piece of her mind, but I just started swearing at her. I tried to tell my mom it wasn’t me, but she refused to believe it. The bus was one I would never even take. A few years later, it happened again. Another friend of my mother’s had supposedly seen me in a park, swearing at people. She went up to me and told me off, but as usual, I swore at her too. I have never even been in that park. I really don’t think that it was me. I’m convinced that it was my doppelganger. It freaks me out and I’m worried that someday, my evil double might do something really bad and I will be blamed for it. STORY 006. This happened when I was 11 years old and my younger sister was 9. It was a Saturday afternoon and we decided to play a game of “hide-and-seek”. I looked at my watch. It was 12 PM. I leaned against the wall, covered my eyes and started counting while my sister ran off to hide. When I counted to 100, I turned around and opened my eyes. “Ready or not, here I come,” I shouted and I started searching for my sister. As I was walking past the garage, I noticed a large box lying upside-down on the floor. Peeking out from under the box, there was some blond hair. The box even moved a little. I laughed because I had found her so easily. I ran over to the box and picked it up. There was nothing underneath. The box was empty! Puzzled, I stood there, wondering how I could have missed her. I figured I must have just imagined the blond hair, so I continued searching. I walked around the side of the house and saw my sister just standing there in the backyard, not making any attempt to hide. She was smiling at me, but there was something strange about her… something creepy. Then she started waving at me and beckoning for me to come closer. Something about her made me afraid. That was when I noticed that she was wearing a different color T-shirt. A few minutes ago, it was blue, but now it was yellow. Despite my fears, I started walking towards her. I glanced over my shoulder, but when I back again, she was gone. It was as if she had vanished into thin air. There was nothing in the backyard for her to hide behind. A chill ran down my spine. Something wasn’t right. Was I seeing things? Were my eyes playing tricks on me? I stood there for a few minutes, trying to make sense of it all. I was anxious and scared. I thought I was losing my mind! I walked around to the front of the house. There was a large maple tree standing in the middle of the garden. Looking at the tree, I noticed that there was someone standing behind it. I could just see the edge of the figure sticking out from behind the tree trunk, but I could tell they were wearing a purple T-shirt. I ran towards the tree and looked behind it, fully expecting to find my sister standing there. There was no one there. I searched all around the area, but there was no sign of her. In a panic, I ran back to the house to tell my mother that something very strange was going on. When I walked into the living room, my sister was sitting there on couch, watching TV. She was wearing a bathrobe and had a towel wrapped around her head. I gasped in disbelief and asked her where she had been. She told me that she had been hiding in the box in the garage at first, but I never came by to find her. After a long time, she got tired of waiting, so she went around to the backyard, but she couldn’t find a place to hide. Then, she went around to the front and hid behind the maple tree for a while. She said she must have waited for an hour without seeing any sign of me. Eventually, she got tired and went inside. She took a shower and sat down to watch TV. I looked at my watch. It was already after 2 PM! Somehow, 2 whole hours had gone by without me noticing at all. I have no idea what happened that day. It was as if I had stepped into some kind of time warp and somehow I had seen my sister’s doppelganger.
