CHAPTER FIVE

I had dinner with my family before I decided to leave. Though I didn't want to leave, I knew I had to even though I didn't know the reason why. I hugged my family goodbye and opened a portal which I entered and got back into my room. I quickly removed my clothes and unlocked my door so as to avoid questions from anyone who might come inside.

As if waiting for me, immediately i unlocked the door, Diana barged into my room, pushing the door wide open and I almost fell. I looked up at her, wanting to yell at her for barging into my room like that but stopped when I saw her face wet with tears and her body covered in sweats like she had just finished sparring.

I quickly stood up and dragged her to my bed and we sat down.

"What's wrong? Why the tears?", I asked with concern.

"I found my mate and he rejected me", she said as more tears ran down her face. I took her and hugged her tightly, clenching my fist as she cried more.

"Who's the motherfucker?", I asked as I gritted my teeth. I could feeleel my anger

rising as my teeth shined.

"It was Beta Charles", she said now panting and that was all it took took to unlock Gold.

3RD PERSON'S POV

"It was Beta Charles", she said now panting and that was all it took took to unlock Gold.

"That bastard", she growled as Sydney got away from Diana and ran to the door under the control of Gold. Diana caught her fast as she was about to open the door and held her hand. Sydney was pleading with Gold to give her control back but Gold was stubborn, she was really angry.

The room was shining gold and trees outside splitted into two due to the heavy lightning strike. Dust flew into the air and formed tornadoes because of the heavy wind. Trees caught fire which was ignited by the winds and river overflowed because of excess water and fishes paraded the pack.

"Sydney please, don't do this", Diana pleaded, crying really hard as she fell on her knees. "Don't forget that you said you didn't want them to know about your real identity, are you going to disobey your mother's instruction because of a mere rejection? Please, don't".

"They've treated us like shits enough. Just because they're in a higher rank than us doesn't give them the right to treat us like slaves let alone for your mate to reject you", Gold fired back, turning to look at her

"Please, don't put your life on the line because of me, please". Gold closed her eyes and immediately, the disaster stooped. She opened her eyes and sighed loudly.

"I'm only stopping because of you, I can't hold it ant longer", Sydney said and went back to her bed.

JAMES WESTON

I was in my room, working on some paperwork. Today wasn't really a day for me. While others found their mates and happily went to them, I didn't find mine. My wolf was sad and refused to talk to me, saying that it was my promiscuous behavior with Sam that made the moon goddess not yo give us our mate.

I chose not to believe him because Sam found her mate. I was waiting for her to reject him because I knew she was going to and even if she wouldn't, I was going to fuel with him.

"Lost in thoughts, James?", the beta to be, Charles teased and I hissed rubbing my temple.

"I didn't hear you come inside", I stated.

"That was because you were in another dimension. Tell me, what's wrong? What he's our Alpha to be so stressed out?", he asked, sitting on my bed.

"I didn't find my mate at the initiation today", I admitted.

"Is that it? At least your worries is something that can be said. You can still find her, she might not be in this pack. And we all know that Sam isn't going to take it easy in your mate when you find her, unless she's an Alpha's daughter sir you shouldn't be worried about that. My own worries can't even be said at all". I looked at him, not understanding what he meant.

"Why? You also didn't find your mate?", I asked unsure and he scoffed.

"If that was the case, it would have been better. I wouldn't even be disturbing myself over anything. I found her but you won't even believe it, her name is Diana, she is an omega", he chuckled and I could not help but into laughter and he joined me.

"What's the laughter all about? I thought you both would be sad about not finding your mates but here you are, laughing your hearts out", the Gamma to be, Fred asked, coming inside.

"Well I did not but Charles did. His mate is an omega", I said and we bursted into another round of laughter and Fred looked at us like we were weirdos.

"What's so wrong about your mate being an omega? At least, I found my mate too".

"Is she an omega?", Charles asked.

"No but she is in a low rank in the pack and I accepted her the way she is", he replied confidently and proudly, lifting his shoulders up.

"You and I are different. I can't accept an omega as my mate", he declared.

"There was a reason the moon goddess mated you with her, can't you consider that?", he pressed in. I didn't know my Gamma liked arguments till today.

"Then, the moon goddess is wicked to mate me with an omega. I mean, I , an omega?", he asked unbelievably and bursted into another set of fresh laughter.

"At least, for the sake of the pack. Are you going to reject her and go for a pack member who has her own mate wherever he may be?".

"To late, I rejected her at the initiation", he admitted nonchalantly.

"So soon?", I asked in surprise.
