Chapter 2

Hope

I woke up and went to the kitchen to help with breakfast I was not an omega but I liked cooking so I went there as much as I could, we made scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, sausages, muffins and fruits. Soon people started piling in werewolves knew how to eat and they heaped their plates as they made way to the tables to eat. I took my own food as I made way to sit with my friends Olive and Faith.

“hey " I said as I sat besides olive

“hey girl" they said both at the same time I laughed as I bit into my apple

“I haven't seen you this happy in a while " said Faith “what's up with you"

“yeah I am mom and dad are coming back today, I missed them so much" I smiled “Mary, the girls and I will be be making a special dinner tonight "

“ Aunt and uncle are always busy, I guess it comes with being the alphas of the largest pack" Olive said

"Orion is here I will see you girls at school, I wish we didn't have to go with the alpha jerk" she left to go sit with Orion who had just came in, when my parents were not around I sat with faith and olive that was before Faith found out Orion was her mate but when my parents are there I sit with my them and my brother Blue, step brother as he always likes to remind me.

Blue never liked me from the moment I came to the pack he never showed it to our parents and I never said anything to them as they were not always around, even though they loved me they were not there most of the time to protect me and I didn't want it to get worse if I told and they were not around

My name is Hope Andrews I am a dragon shifter well half dragon, my father was a dragon shifter who was fated to a human and unlike other shifters a dragon could not change their fated one to a dragon. Finding a fated one for a dragon is now very rare almost next to impossible and dragons can have kids with their fated ones only so dragons the few that are in existence are dying out, most supernaturals believe that we are extinct but dragons are still there they are few left and are in hiding , we were hunted because other supernaturals were scared of us and the power dragons had and I was told that there was a time that both supernaturals and humans lived together but they began to fear what were and how powerful we are they started hunting and killing us, there are still a few humans left who still hunted us. I was a half blood and did not show any characteristics of a dragon my dad had a few scales even in his human form but I had nothing my parents said I might be human like my mother but they kept me hidden as they said if anyone found out they might want to bring me harm because even though I might be human my heart had dragon essence and I had dragon blood pumping through me one day I might have some dragon powers even though they were not sure I would be able to shift because even though I was a half blood I was more human than dragon . My parents never had much as we moved from place to place so that we could be safe but when I was nine my dad came home and said we had to run, we ran for almost a month and we had been living in the forest with little food, my little mind thought we were safe but I was wrong one day my parents started panicking and we had to run again after running for two days straight my father hid me in a tree and told me not to move or make a sound he left me and he and my mother ran, I was so scared but I listened I didn't move or make a sound for two days I stayed in that tree and when I thought I was about to die few guards of red crescent moon pack found me they gave me dirty water and almost rotten food and threw me in the dangeons but I ate it anyway as I was hungry, a few days later it might have been a few days or a day I don't know as there was no light that came in from the outside in the dangeon I was brought to the alpha and Luna. Luna Summer upon seeing me cried and the alpha couldn't believe a child had been thrown in the dangeon they took me in and dicided to help me look for my parents, at that point I didn't know there where other shifters and when I discovered that they where wolves it scared me but they showed me love and were very patient with me, everyday I waited patiently as I thought my parents will come back for me but they never did, I finally told them my real story as I was very scared for my parents , they were very shocked that dragons still exists and they expanded the search, from the start they looked for my parents as I had told them they left me in that tree but the search party was not that big as they thought my parents were human and eventually they will come back looking for me but when I told them my father was a dragon shifter and we had been running for our lives they expanded the search as they said he might be in danger. My parents were found shot d**d and I had to identify them as no one knew what they looked like. The alpha and Luna took me in and they adopted me they told me that there where a few hunters in existence they didn't know that they are many supernaturals still living in packs and covens as they believed they hunted and killed most of us but those who lived in the human communities fell prey to them as it becames difficult to hide who we are for very long. They asked a lot of questions about me and my parents since they also believed dragons where extinct they did not know much about them and one of my now mom's friend was a doctor, aunt Clara and she started doing research on dragons and why they perceived me as a human that's how I became the daughter of the Luna and Alpha of red crescent moon and sister to the futer alpha.
