On the night everything in her life fell apart, Elena met the one man she was never supposed to cross paths with. Broke, heartbroken, and desperate to save her mother, she agreed to a strange contract marriage with a cold and powerful billionaire who had his own hidden reasons for choosing her.

The rules were simple: no love, no questions, and no secrets revealed.

But living under the same roof with a man who watches her like he already knows her begins to change everything. As their fake marriage starts to feel dangerously real, Elena discovers there is more to Adrian Kingsley than his icy reputation—and more to their connection than coincidence.

When the truth behind the contract finally surfaces, will she walk away… or risk everything for a love that was never supposed to exist?

Episode 1: The Night Everything Change
Episode 1: The Night Everything Changed The rain poured heavily that night, as if the sky itself was mourning with me. I stood outside the hospital entrance, my fingers trembling as I stared at the bill in my hands. The numbers on the paper looked unreal—too large, too impossible. “Miss Elena,” the nurse called gently, walking toward me. “Your mother’s condition is getting worse. She needs surgery immediately.” Immediately. That word echoed inside my head like thunder. “I… I understand,” I whispered, though I had no idea what I was supposed to do. Where was I going to get that kind of money? My savings were gone. My relatives had turned their backs on me. Even my fiancé—the man I trusted for three years—had disappeared the moment he found out my mother was sick. I laughed bitterly. Love was truly fragile. “Elena?” I looked up and saw my best friend rushing toward me with panic written all over her face. “I’ve been calling you! Why aren’t you picking up?” she asked, slightly out of breath. “I sold my phone,” I replied quietly. Her expression froze. “You did what?” “I needed money for medicine.” She stared at me in silence before grabbing my hands tightly. “There’s… another way,” she said carefully. “What way?” She hesitated. Then she lowered her voice. “There’s a man looking for a bride.” I blinked. “A bride?” “Yes,” she continued quickly. “It’s a contract marriage. Just one year. He’ll pay for everything—your mother’s surgery, hospital bills, and even give you extra money.” I stared at her like she had lost her mind. “Why would someone do that?” “I don’t know,” she admitted honestly. “But people say he’s extremely rich… and dangerous.” Dangerous. Something about that word made my heart beat faster. “I can’t marry a stranger,” I whispered. “Elena,” she said firmly, “this may be your only chance to save your mother.” I looked back at the hospital building behind me. Through one of the windows upstairs… my mother was fighting for her life. My hands slowly tightened around the medical bill. “What’s his name?” I asked quietly. She hesitated again. Then she answered. “Adrian Kingsley.” The name alone carried power. Even I had heard of him. The youngest CEO in the city. Cold. Untouchable. Feared. Some people said he never smiled. Others said he destroyed anyone who stood in his way. And now— He was looking for a bride. Before I could change my mind, my friend handed me a black business card. “His assistant told me to give this to you if you agreed.” My fingers trembled as I took it. There was only one sentence written on the card. Come tonight. 9 PM. No address. Just a location pin. Almost like he already knew I would say yes. That night, I stood in front of the tallest building in the city. Kingsley Tower. My reflection stared back at me from the glass entrance doors. My dress was simple. My shoes were worn. My hair was slightly messy from the rain. I didn’t belong here. Not even a little. But I stepped inside anyway. The receptionist didn’t even ask my name. “Miss Elena,” she said politely. “Mr. Kingsley is waiting for you.” Waiting for me? How did he know I would come? The elevator doors opened on the top floor. My heartbeat grew louder with every step I took down the quiet hallway. Finally, I reached a large black door. Before I could knock— It opened. And there he stood. Tall. Sharp. Cold. His dark eyes studied me like I was a puzzle he had already solved. “So,” Adrian Kingsley said calmly, his deep voice filling the room. “You came.” I swallowed nervously. “Yes.” He walked closer. Too close. Close enough for me to feel his presence surrounding me completely. Then he said something that made my breath stop. “Marry me for one year,” he said quietly. “And I’ll save your mother’s life.”
