Chapter Three A Parents Nightmare In The Woods

We got the boat out and came by the launch doc, to pick up Molly with all the fishing gear."Hey guys were there any problems getting the boat out?" she asked. "Nope none at all" we replied, "so where is the best fishing spot Chloe?" Nicky asks me "well if we go about 2.5 miles to the north there used to be really good bites of salmon." I answered back. "Then that's where we'll try first I think." Nicky answered.

After an hour or so we made it out to the spot I was telling them about, "Damn girl the fish are jumping in the boat here" Molly and Hope both laughed.We cut the engine and picked our seats to do some fishing, Hope and Molly where on the port side of the boat while me and Nicky where on the starboard side of the boat. after about two hours of fishing I would say us three girls had better luck then Nicky for catches. "I mean it what did you girls do flash the fish I couldn't get one bite" Nicky was still complaining about not getting one fish but Hope and Molly got six each and I had seven."ugh could you shut up already about the damn fish" exclaimed Hope, Molly and I where just snickering about the banter.

While we are motoring back to short Molly elbows me, "Hey girl what's up" I ask her. "I think we need to cut the engine and paddle very quietly over to that corner of the lake" she tells me. "What did you see as you got better despite eyesight with your glasses?" I say, "I think there's some one or some buddies on the shore line". "Ok, Yo Nicky cut the engine there's something going on at the shore line" I yelled and he did just that. " Chloe what's going on?" Nicky asked me after it went dead silent.

As we all grabbed a paddle we moved slowly and quietly just as Molly had mentioned to do. "hey,hey, look over there" this time it was Hope being the weirdo, "what do you see Hope" Nick asked since he is at the backside of the boat. "I'm seeing two tall males down by that old wishing well, you know the one you used to tell us about Chloe. The one where your brother broke his arm pulling you out after you fell in." "what the hell no one was to go anywhere near there after that incident." I voiced out.

"Well someone didn't get the memo clearly " Hope shot back with much sass. "let's get a closer look and figure this s**t out" Nicky said as we shored the boat. One by one we got out, I lead the way since I knew the way over there. "ummm guys " Molly whispered"what is it" we all asked as we walked towards her. "do those not look like body bags to you" she pointed and asked us all, an sure enough they where morg issued body bags for people.

We all went white as sheets as we looked from the filled body bags to one another and back again. "Chloe" Hope called to me "didn't that officer Kelly say people kept going missing on this road, and last seen by your address" I nodded my head as a confirmation of her statement. "Hey look girls " this time Nicky called to get our attention one of the body bags was unzipped and fiery red hair was hanging out of it. the only person I had seen with that shade of red was officer Kelly first thing this morning. I gulped hoping that she was ok.

Hope started to snap pictures with her phone as her camera was on the boat. we all ducked down as one of the men started walking towards us he then turned, to bend down to the partly unzipped body bag. as we watched him I noticed the person in the body bag looked to be our age mines Hope she's 18 but the rest of us are 16 going on 17. it made my stomach drop "Holy f**k!" whispered Nicky he looked ready to hurl. "what is he doing with her body?" asked Molly, we all watched and couldn't believe what we had just witnessed.

To say we were shocked and scared, hug, Maga understatement. we are all shaking and hoping that we are not next. "Hope" I call out "Do you have all this evidence and proof backed up?" I asked her. "Sure," she replied.

"Was it just my angel or did you see how that dude had to fix himself while bent down by the body?", Nicky asked while shaking his head trying to erase the image." shhhh" I hissed at them, turn on your video recorder I mouthed to Hope. thank God she got the hint, "yo man what's taking you so long" tall number two asked as we still couldn't see there faces. " Nothing at all, just a pity we didn't get to have some fun with this one. Put up to much of a fight" tall by the body bag said as a reply to his friend." hmmm maybe we should still have some fun with this one can't fight back now, haha". "Shut up you i***t we'll be caught for sure with that dum ass idea". " just help me get them in to the f*****g well".

we stayed as quiet as we could not believe our own ears or eyes for that matter. finally they left and we made a bee line for the boat. "Oh My God, that was discussing to over hear and whiteness" Molly voiced out "yeah agree the one must work in the morgue and must have a kink about dead women.","Like on that old show a 1000 ways to die. the Mortician guy liked to sleep with his woman corpses and his last one killed him." Nicky and Hope both said.

we all stayed silent after that we thought of what we should do. "we'll for now we are all going to keep our mouths shut, understand?" I stated out loud. Everyone shook their heads, as we were shaking out the creepy feelings. "Nicky you better be careful, with this boat after seeing that mess" I yelled out.

We finished our boat ride back to the cabin, "well I lost my need for food what about you guys " Hope stated while holding her mouth. "I second that, man I'm not going to sleep tonight " Nicky had answered, just as we got up from the boat shack and doc an unmarked car pulled up we all became very tense. Looking at one another, then officer Kelly steps out and we all let out a breath we were holding. "Officer Kelly" I called out to her. "ah there you kids are, I was hoping you were here" she stats.

"what's going on" Molly asked when she got closer to me and officer Kelly. " well not best News but have you kids seen these two" she asks as she pulls out two pictures. We all suck in breaths once again. The pictures were of the fire red head we saw in the body bag and a guy, he possibly was in the other one or, got away I hope." they have been reported missing shortly after you guys came in about the men in the boat shack, and they again last seen at this address". she says like we would know anything which we did know the girl is long since dead but the guy unknown to us.

"We haven't seen anyone except for thing one and thing two, and you" Nicky replied being all Dr sues because he is nervous. good god help me if he doesn't blow up about what we saw deep into the woods.
