Heren
The intercom issued a beep as a mechanical voice sounded, warning City Z netizens to pay attention to their words, "Attention all citizens of City Z, a level 4 monster escaped from the Hero Organization laboratory. Please clear the surrounding area and evacuate immediately."
"Again. Attention all citizens of City Z, please clear the surrounding area and evacuate immediately!"
The intercom issued news multiple times before it quieted down. With the panic screams of the people running around, hoping to get to the evacuation shelter immediately.
Amidst the panic of the people, running towards the assigned evacuation area where countless B heroes are placed to protect themselves from danger, one unlucky citizen of City Z was unfortunately caught as he struggled under the monster's hold, fear visible on his face.
"Ahh! Help! Help me!" the man in a normal work suit shouted, wiggling his hands and feet, an attempt to break free from the tight hold that the monster was using to hold him. Only for such actions to cause the monster to furrow his brows deeply as he used his big and red knuckles to deliver a blow to the struggling man's stomach.
The man's face flinched in pain as he quieted down a lot, pulling himself together as he prayed someone would save him as that heavy hand was about to fall thrice on him.
Maybe his prayer was too earnest, that just seconds before the monster's heavy blow was about to fall on him, three heroes appeared, subduing the red monster easily like it was a piece of cake for them, while he was saved by one of the three heroes that arrived.
The man finally could not help it as his face, full of fear for his life a while ago, broke out as he sobbed and repeatedly gave his thanks.
"Thank you so much... thank you so much!" The man sobbed as the hero that put him down in a safe place smiled for a little bit, as if comforting the fearful man.
"Go home now, you are all safe" Heren softly said, blinking her eyes slightly as she watched the man striding fast to where his home was.
The soft expression on Heren's face immediately faded away as she stood up and went to the other two heroes', her companions, who helped in subduing the monster.
Her dark red eyes flashed darkly as her right hand made a strange gesture and was about to strike the monster's neck in one go, completely killing the monster off, without any breath left, when one of her companions suddenly voiced out, stopping her from doing what she wanted to do to the monster lying on the ground with bared teeth.
"You can't kill him off!" Keila said, reminding Heren not to be impulsive.
Heren went silent but the hand that was in a strange gesture still was not put down and regained its normal figure. After seconds passed of silence, Heren tilted her head, cold light flashing dangerously inside her red eyes, looking over at Keila, who's dark blue eyes was anxiously looking at her.
"Why can't I kill him off?" Heren asked, gazing back at the monster on her feet once again.
Even if she knows why she can't kill the monster, hearing the reason from the organization itself does not seem to make any sense if it was sent and transmitted to her head.
Keila hesitated first before he then said after making eye contact with Karen and seeing her nod her head.
"The organizational laboratory needed the monster for research, so we needed to keep him alive. If this monster is dead, the organization scientists won't be able to advance their study if the monster is already dead", Keila said, reasoning with Heren, who is still planning to kill the monster.
Heren went silent just after hearing Keila persuading her not to be impulsive.
Yes. Impulsive.
If ever she were to exterminate the monster that was causing chaos in her city, she would be deemed to have done something on impulse, resulting in her being called an impulsive person.
Heren her hands finally returned to their usual form, as she was about to use her teleportation to her other two companions and the monster lying on the ground to go to the organization, when a familiar aura suddenly shrouded all of them's as the monster that was said to be 'alive' at all costs, since it's still had some purpose for the organization future development had its neck sliced off just like that.
"Senpai!" Keila and Karen both shouted with wide eyes, while Heren who was hiding on their backs, had the corner of her lips lifted before it disappeared in a flash before it could be seen by anyone else.
Tsuyoi, who did not care whether the gaze of the twins held a little bit of resentment towards him, tilted his head to the side and flashed a big smile to Heren, who had no expression on his back, silently looking at him.
"Yo! Heren! Long time no see!" Tsuyoi greeted him.
Heren only nodded her head at Tsuyoi enthusiastic greeting towards her.
Keila and Karen were very helpless as Keila bitterly opened to their first ever SSS+ hero in this present century.
"Did you know what you have done, senpai? Did you know what would happen to you if you were reported to the organization?"
Tsuyoi smiling face became even more smiley as he raised his left brow and said halfheartedly, "I know very well what I have done and also know what will happen to me."
"Then why did you do it in the first place if you already know what you knew?" Karen said, her voice raised, forgetting the fact that she was only currently an S-ranked hero, not a match for a hero ranked in SSS+.
Maybe Karen realized it as she bit her lower lip and lowered her head, expecting a scolding in turn for her sudden rise of voice.
But what she had expected was not the one that she expected to get. As Tsuyoi laughed and said, "I don't care whether I am unplaced or not. After all...." Tsuyoi paused while talking as his eyes glinted when he made eye contact with Heren's red eyes that were suddenly so dark.
"I plan on going astray now, so if ever you see me in the future, it means you are meeting me as an enemy" were all the words that Tsuyoi left before he disappeared.
Leaving the three--two, actually, to be speechless.
Heren pursed her lips, her thoughts unknown.
