I had never seen Maddix or Riley so pissed off before. This tiny little man, calling himself the king, waltzed into Blood Moon expecting everyone to bow to him and cower before him. Apparently, he had never met people from Blood Moon before. Our leaders had always told us to stand our ground if we felt it was just to do so.
King or not, our Alpha wasn't taking his s**t, and this proved it. After Maddix put him in his place, the king and his entourage stormed out of the dining room. They didn't even go back to their rooms, they loaded into their cars and left. Leaving all they had brought with them behind.
