Watching Miles fall to the ground, and Adelina standing behind him with his heart in his hands, I wasn't sure what to do. I wanted to run to her, but there was also the situation where George had my mom.
We grew up with George, and mom was like a second mother to him. I went to yell at one of the warriors to grab George and get my mom, but Henry had beat them to it. He had approached George, and simply took my mom out of his arms. Something was off, and I think Henry sensed it as much as I did. This was so out of character for George, and there had to be more to the story.
I knew I wouldn't give George any leeway in this situation, but I was willing to hear him out. Only after I made sure my family was alright.
