I hated that Mel felt jealous, but I also hated that it was us who made her feel that way. I just kept making things worse by not knowing what to say to make it better, because everything that came out of my mouth made it sound like I was making fun of her. Yet I wasn't. She didn't see it that way though. Liam was able to smooth things over, and explain better than I ever could. Once he let it out that we both loved her too, the look on her face fell. It went from frustration and anger to sadness with those four words. Was she not happy about that?
