Moving In day

Becky's POV...

Daniel and I were going on a date tonight. I was so excited and Bella also seemed excited to be spending time with Nathan and Lottie as she knew that she would be able to see baby Isla-May. I had no idea where he was taking me as he said it was a surprise but either way I was really excited. We dropped Bella off on the way to our destination.

 Once we arrived I saw that we were at a roof top restaurant. I love looking out over London at night it was a stunning sight. We ate dinner and chatted enjoying each others company. Towards the end of the night we shared a cheesecake after our cheesecake he held my hands in his looked deeply into my eyes and asked me to move in with me. I was utterly shocked he really wanted this I could see it in his eyes. I said yes obviously but we had to make sure Bella was fine with it first, I am sure that she will be thrilled but she had to be my main priority. 

The next day we went to collect Bella from Nathan and Lottie's whilst in the car we decided it was the right time to ask Bella whether or not she wanted to move in with Daniel. She was thrilled as expected and was already planning how her bedroom would look since Daniel had said that she could decorate it anyway way she should. She was so keen that we had to go shopping to get stuff for her knew room.

 Cushions, Curtains, new bedding all in the trolley. Cuddly toys stacked to the brim. Daniel was spoiling her rotten. He also said I could put anything I wanted in there considering his room was now going to be our room. We went to Daniel's apartment that would soon be ours to put all of Bella's things together, we changed the bedding added her fluffy blanket and cuddly toys all that was needed now was the empty her room at our apartment and transfer it all over to her new room here.

 We decided to spend the night here and start packing up everything tomorrow. Dinner consisted of spaghetti Bolognese as it was the only thing Daniel knew how to make other than breakfast items. It was delicious but I knew that I was the one who was going to be doing all the cooking. I didn't mind though I loved cooking but baking was my passion. After dinner I decided to give Bella a bath while Daniel washed the dishes. Bella was giggling playing with her toys while I washed her hair. We both loved bath time because it was always a time we giggled. 

Daniel's POV...

After I finished washing the dishes I decided to check on the girls. As I neared the bathroom door of Bella's room all I heard was giggling from both of them. I peered in to see Becky washing Bella's hair while she played with her bath toys. I walked over and as soon as Bella saw me she decided to splash me with water, she found it hilarious but I gave her a serious look she then looked like she was going to cry as she thought I was mad at her but I quickly changed my expression to show that I wasn't angry with her. 

I decided to splash her back. She found it so funny and went to splash me again but instead of getting me wet she got Becky wet. Bella looked at me and made no sound until she heard me laughing which she then joined in too. Becky gave us both the death stare and then splashed us both worse than before. This left us all a laughing mess.

 We dried Bella and changed her into her pyjamas and tucked her into bed. Both Becky and I decided to get in with her and have a cuddle while I read the story. After Bella had fallen asleep Becky and I returned to my room, or should I say our room. We climbed in and talked about what she wanted to put in the apartment, she wasn't bothered about her furniture so was going to sell it all. 

She noticed that I didn't have a lot in my kitchen so instead of buying new stuff she would bring hers. The bedroom she believed was fine just needed her clothes in the wardrobe and some new bedding. We then cuddled until we fell asleep. 

The next day we went back to their apartment to box up everything that they needed. Bella wanted to take literally everything with her which I had no problem with, she didn't have a lot and what she did have she cherished. Becky did not have much either not nearly as much as Bella she obviously never bought things for herself and prioritised Bella when they didn't have much money. This was going to change they were not going to struggle and I would buy Becky flowers once a week to show her how much I appreciated her.

 Once everything was boxed up we were ready to lock up and get going. The apartment still had the furniture in and was going to stay how it is for now. We will sell it later down on the line but for now just in case Bella feels unsettled we were keeping it. We packed everything into the car and set off for home. 

I took Bella's boxes in first as she was desperate to fill her room up. We helped her unpack everything and arrange it the way she wanted. Once we were done she decided that it was time for a nap and tucked herself into her bed and fell asleep. Becky and I took this time to bring the rest of the stuff in starting with our bedroom. Her clothes were now in the wardrobe and I had changed the bedding to the fluffy teddy bear one she couldn't sleep without. 

I pulled out several pictures from the boxes of Bella as a baby in Becky's arms I placed one on the dressing table I had purchased for Becky to do her hair and Make up if she wanted and one of her bedside table. These photos reminded me that I would love to have one of the three of us. I brought this up to Becky and she thought that it was a great idea and we would look into it. 

We then moved on to the kitchen, Becky brought whatever food was left in their kitchen to use up and her appliances that she knew I wouldn't have. She had to bring plates and bowls because I didn't have many considering I have lived alone for a very long time. She also brought some special plates,bowls,spoons and cups for Bella. 

Seeing all their stuff in the apartment finally helped me feel as though it was becoming more homely. It had once been a bachelor pad and now it was a home. We didn't have a garden which I knew Becky had wanted as she didn't have one at her apartment either but the balcony wrapped around giving us a lot of outdoor space so I secretly set up and mini playground for Bella out and there and there was a special treat for Becky too I got us a hot tub to chill in. I was planning to unveil it tomorrow as I knew Becky wanted to focus on setting up today. 

Bella finally woke up from her nap around 2 pm, she had missed having lunch with us but Becky had left her some for later. I sat with Bella at the breakfast bar supervising her while she was eating while Becky made cupcakes. After the cupcakes were made Becky suggested that we invite my family over for a get together to let them know that we have moved in together I thought that it was a great idea and suggested that David and Amanda join us so they become acquainted. 

They all replied with a yes and arrived 3 hours later. We had dinner and chatted together. David and Amanda got on well with my parents. Scarlet had brought the boys so Bella was occupied in her room showing them all of her stuff. I was with Nathan and Jason having a beer whilst Becky was having a natter with Scarlet and Lottie who was holding Isla-May. As the night went on Becky was now holding Isla-May she looked so cute holding a baby. 

 The boys and Bella had fallen asleep in her room and nobody had the heart to wake them so Jason and Scarlet were staying the night. Nathan and Lottie needed to get Isla-May to bed so left rather early but not before arranging for a girls day out with Becky and Bella on Friday. My mum and dad were leaving with Nathan so said goodbye as well. 

David and Amanda had left a few hours ago due to Amanda not feeling very well. After everyone had left and Jason and Scarlet went to the guest room Becky and I were finally alone in our apartment. We made sure we tidied everything up and did the washing up. We then were tired ourselves and slipped off into bed feeling really positive about our new chapter together...
