Chapter 1: A Mysterious Death

"I-is there anyone here?" says a boy wearing a raincoat, scared with his eyes swelling up with tears, "I-i need help I'm lost" says the boy. As the boy takes small careful steps, he hears a sound. He runs up to where he heard it. As soon as the boy reaches near the bushes, he sees a man. The man was facing the other side. Seeing that man, little boy became hopeful. "Hi sir, can you tell me the way out? I was playing hide and seek with my friends and i got lost." The man stays still, not moving a bit. "Sir, are you listening?" he says as he steps forward. As soon as theaj turns around, the boy's eyes fills up with fear and he screams "AHHHHHHH", and with a flash of light man attacks him. The boy tried running but the man got him. The man takes the boy with him, moving with hard footsteps but he takes his body, leaving his whole face in the midst of the jungle. The boy's dead. The news of his death was circulating around the city. With his family mourning to the residents getting scared for their lives. This was not the first person to die mysteriously like this. Anyone who goes into that jungle never comes back. The locals were curious and scared with every news report and deaths. Two girls watching this news were quite surprised. "What do you think is happening Amanda?" says the girl. "I dunno, but whatever it is, we should stay out of that jungle Katie. It's very dangerous" she says as she picks up her books. "Where you going?" says Katherine getting up. "Home. Mom said not to wander around the neighborhood and to come home before dark" says Amanda as she hugs her and says goodbye. Katherine sits on the sofa again, letting out a deep sigh thinking deeply. "I want to find out what's causing all these deaths." she says to herself as she gets up and runs out of the house. But she doesn't know that her curiosity will lead her to a place from where she cannot go back...
