I stand at the head of the conference table, surveying the room as the pack elders and Chloe take their seats. The atmosphere is tense, with an undercurrent of unease that I can't quite explain.
"Let's get started," I say, my voice firm and authoritative.
"I'd like to begin with an update on the current activities of the pack. Are there any developments that I should be aware of?"
