After the meeting, when the elders have gone and it's just Adrian and me left, I let out a sigh of relief. The tension in the room was palpable, and I'm glad that we were able to come to a decision.
Adrian turns to me, a thoughtful expression on his face. "What do you think, Chloe?" he asks. "Do you really think this is a good idea?"
