The revenge plot LUCAS POV I walked into the room and looked around. She had practically destroyed almost everything. Her room was a total mess, I woke myself up to a cushion in the room and sat down. I understand that anyone would have done that with the situation but not me. I can never allow anyone use my weakness against me or even let anyone know what my weakness is. That's just how one can survive especially as an alpha in a pack people are willing to kill to become an alpha for. Getting betrayed everyday by someone i never expect is something that isn't new to me so when anything happens, i don't get shocked, i only find a solution to the problem and move on with life. She shook her head in confusion as she stared at me. “Who are you, and what do you want?” She asks. “That's shocking ” I mumble. “What is?” She asks. “That you don't know me” I said, and she sighed. “Lucas hills” I said, and she arched her brow, then nodded. “Thought so.” She mumbled. “I will go straight to the point. Besides, you heard what i said the other time at the door clearly” I said. “Crying won't solve your problem. Vengeance is the best answer” I said seeing another round of tears pour down her face. “What do you know? I am sure there is a reason this happened, they can't betray me like that, i know them well” She said still in tears but i wasn't moved by them instead i laugh out loud but it wasn't for long before my face went back cold. No wonder the guy didn't want to get married to her, he wasn't ready to teach her how not to trust anyone no matter who they are in one's life but i know this will be a great lesson for her. “People change, little bride, you shouldn't expect so much from anyone, and learn not to trust people like that, that's the easiest way to kill” I said. “What?” She asks. “The easiest way to die is when you trust people too much and let down your guard just because you think they can't harm you” I said, and she shook her head. “But they are not like that, and I know they will never harm me, I just… something is definitely wrong somewhere” she said, still trying to convince herself. “What could be wrong? That the guy threatened the girl to do it for the past threatened the guy? They seems to love each other with the way they were staring at each other, if it was a threaten, you wouldn't have seen the mark bite, you only do that to someone you are willing to let them be your mate, someone you want to be an alpha to” I explain. “But, What if it's someone else that is trying to use them to hurt me knowing Well they are my two trusted people?” She said, “I see,” I mumble. The door burst open, and the lady that had taken her husband walked in. She was looking all feisty like someone who was coming for a fight. When she saw me, she laughed and ranted about how the bride had moved on easily, and she was outside claiming the victim when she was also bad. Little bride went ahead to try and explain that it wasn't all what the lady thought, and I wondered how naive she was. I wasn't quite shocked but it surprised me to see her still explaining Who i am instead of tearing the lady apart. I watched as the lady talked on and on. I made sure to stay out of their business to avoid being disdained. She talked about a wedding and also invited the bride to come grace the occasion. I looked at the bride, and I could see her burning with anger. If i was the one, i would have torn her to pieces, the audacity. The lady, after telling us about her boring tale, walked out of the room with a victorious smile lying on her lips. Sarah turned to me and the next question she asked me shocked me but I was glad she was beginning to see the bigger picture. SASHA POV I didn't think I might find Sarah in her room, so I didn't go to her room first. Since when things like this happen, people tend to go to places no one will see them, i searched around and when I didn't see her, I ended up checking her room and there she was talking to a man. He was a handsome one at that. He was sitting on the couch with a bored and cold look on his face as he stared at Sarah while talking. I looked around and noticed her room was a mess, she must have poured all her anger on the room. I chuckled because I didn't expect her to already start talking to someone else so fast. Sarah barely talked to men when She was dating Derek. She claims she didn't need to when Derek was available for her. “What are you doing here?” She snapped when she saw me. “I never expected you to move on so fast, i mean, your marriage got ruined today, and here you are with another man on the same day” i said, and she shook her head. “No, it's not what you think. He just came in, and i don't know him” She said, trying to explain, but i cared less. “Well, I don't care,” I mumble. “I and Derek have been in a relationship for quite a very long time and we had to keep it secret because your father is an alpha and we needed closure” I said and waited to see the look on her face. Her pain is my joy. “There is no mistake in everything that happened, and I don't regret doing what I did,” I said. “My wedding Iv will soon be out, I will drop one for you, it will be an honour if you do well to grace the occasion” I said and smirked. I look at the man in the room and then back to Sarah, then I walk out with a great smile on my face. SARAH POV When Lucas invited himself in and introduced himself, I instantly remembered who it was. I knew he was a powerful person when everywhere screams of his aura. There was just something about him that seemed so different, the way he looks, the way he talks, it screams aura. He sits down on the couch and places his chin on his hand, his eyes roam about the room and I roll my eyes. Anyone would have done this if they were in my situation. He tried to convince me to have revenge, but part of me was telling me what happened wasn't intentional even though I know deep down it might be. I had truly trusted Sarah and Derek so much that I never expected them to hurt me, not in this life or the next one, and they used that against me, knowing I would never suspect them. Merely thinking about it, I remember all the little moments they seem closer than usual, but I always shrug it off because Derek met Sasha before me, and it's normal for them to still be friends. Sasha walked in while I was talking to Lucas, and she laughed when she saw him. She claimed i had moved on quicker than expected even though i tried to explain things with her, she seemed to care less, and that really shocked me. This is not the Sasha I know. She has changed so much, and it feels like she isn't my best friend. She told me the story on how she and Derek have been together for a while and she will send an invitation to their wedding when it is ready. She also mentioned how everything wasn't a mistake instead of a well planned one just if i am still expecting it to be one, and she never regretted It one bit. Shs claimed everything was to get closer to me, and I wondered if our friendship was ever true or just a pretty lie. “Our friendship, has any moment ever been true?” I asked calmly even though I was really angry at the moment. She looked at me but didn't give me a reply, which means only one thing. I shook my head, feeling more betrayed. I know she is doing all this, so I won't try to get close to Derek or even settle things between us. She said all she had to say and left with a stupid sly smile displaying on her lips. My body was burning with rage, and I knew that was enough. The moment she Left, I turned to Lucas who had been staring at us without Saying a thing. “What are you planning?” I ask.
