Chapter 1
“ Rouge ! Where is my breakfast .” Comes a desperate cute little voice .
“On it lily” I said making her pout for the 5th time now .
I got out of the kitchen holding our breakfast
“ your favorite, creeps with hot sauce and Basil .
I placed the plate on the table with a war glass of milk. I sit across her as I pour my self some milk in the bowel with my favorite footloops.
“ Yah” lily expresses her pleasure for this new dish that I had recent tried for tik -tok and it really went great .
You know rogue, today is the drawing competition that I’hv been waiting for a mouth .
I hear her as she says about her class while having my cereals with Milk .
She babbles some more about her school and her interest in the new comer “ jack” I doubt she’s gonna have a boyfriend before me , I internally laugh at my on comment.
“So are you gonna come for the parents meeting tomorrow?” As I was in my dreamland .I suddenly heard this sentence from her . I looked over at her and saw her gloom eyes .
“ Yaa , Aff-course baby” I assure her as she looks at me with hope . Last time I had missed her pta and that teacher had scolder her for not letting me know . Though I knew but I did not got a day off And that lead her to not talk to me for 4 days straight.
“Are you done” I say as she get up without picking her plate and glass . I have always thought her to put the used vessels in the sink but she is one smart lady , runs to the room to get her bag without doing any over work .
I sign and talk all the vessels in the kitchen .
“Say Your grace lily” I say to lily as I have set a rule and an old tradition that we’d use in my family
That while going out we should stand close to the door and remember god and take refuge from all the accidents that could take place during the whole day .
“ Oh lord keep us safe from the accident and calamities that could come our path for the rest of the day, Amen”
We get out of the, I lock the flat while lily is waiting down stares for me .
As we move towards the main road I see several eyes lusting over me . Ahh This area .
This is not some posh and rich area . I come from a very middle or I’d rather say below middle class family as my father was a drunker ,he long lost his life in an accident and my mother , well she left us all alone with her long time lover . Who used to live across our flat . My father was an abusive husband as he used to hit my mum for her coming betrayal , It’s not that she left us for the first time , she had already had ran quit a few time after 4 I have also lost the count . But my father was a good father who would always look after me and my young sister even in his drunk state he used to come to my room and check on us .
So ya as we all got the news from the cop that My father had met with an accident with a car and has lost his life My mother at the very same evening left us alone with all the money which was in the locker . I was around 17 when this all had taken place. I already had a job in a cafe . So It wasn’t new for me to be cashless for 2days. Nontheless my boss was a good man so he gave me my half salary for the time being .
“ Oaky, careful get down from the bus” I say to lily as she is getting down from the bus before me . She always falls while getting drown from the bus.
“ wish you very best for your competition and Rouge knows that you gonna come first. Okay” I kiss her cheeks and she wipe it down with her small hands “ am a grown woman now , staap treating me like Am five”
“You are five, lily” I remind her as she acts all grown . Well tv’s nowadays is making these small girls go crazy .
She pouts and shows her all grown up anger
“K..k sorry, miss five years old , I’ll be back at 5:00 in the evening so stay up with Kyla and don’t give her a tough time okay ,
“ okkayyy” saying this she runs to the classmate to join them in .
Kyla is teacher working in this lily’s school I was my friend as she used to live in my building but now she has taken a own house . But she always stays back with lily to keep her accompany .
I take another bus for there to my work place now.
That gates of black mansion have opened for me I step in and meet with the familiar rich sent that rules the atmosphere of This mansion rich and Royal .
As soon as I enter in the mansion I hear green calling me from the garden side”
I walk towards big door-window panel “ you are again late rouge”
She says as she waters the beautiful white roses.
“ amm , yeh I had to drop lily . So kinda”
You know grandma Ella has made the whole mansion dance as she has not seen you till now”
“hm, I’ll check in her” I turned to leave but green stops me holding me hand
“Not now rouge she is fuming a little and I don’t want you to lose you job” she warns me , yeah I cannot afford to lose my job .
“Okay I have an idea” I say to green as I hold green’s hand and we tip-toeing move, Green try’s to say something but I don’t let her speak and we move towards the music room as all the magic takes place in this particular room.
