CH 6 Freya Pov

She couldn't believe her uncle was keeping her here. Uncle George was going to be here in 4 hours. It's a long time to sit and have to wait with these two Alphas, both clearly wanting to bond with her. She zoned out in her own thoughts for a moment but was still on the phone to her uncle.

"Freya?" he asked. Yes, uncle, she will be here when you arrive. Clearly, the man is nuts, she thought to herself. She hung up. Well, this is awkward, which then she realised she said that out loud and not in her head. Halo thought it was funny, "Good one, Freya." She said.

The two of them thought it was funny as well. She couldn't bring herself to look at them. Well, both of you can leave now and she'll wait here for her uncle to arrive. "Why?" Max said. You both don't need to be here. She'll come to your office when her uncle arrives.

"Why don't we make a compromise?, You come to our office in 2 hours, have a conversation with us before your uncle comes." Max said.

Why would she do that? "Well, what are you afraid of?" Zack asked. She just wanted to punch Zack in his handsome face.

"You know Freya, we could take this opportunity to get to know each other," Zack asked. No, she doesn't see the point. She is only staying here as her uncle is coming here. Zack was frowning. She turned to see Max just standing they staring at her.

Why are you just staring at her? Max smiled, a smile that lit his whole face up. "I'm admiring what I hope will be mine, ours." He said. She didn't need anyone to tell her that her face was red as a tomato. C**p she's not getting out of this, she said to herself.

Both of them finally left after she agreed to go meet them in their office, especially after that comment, but she couldn't cope with their scent anymore. it was killing her, and Halo kept pushing dirty thoughts at her. Halo more than wanted her mates, Halo thought it was meant to be. She was of a different mind.

It's been almost 2 hours, and she knew it would be quicker to drive, but she decided to walk to the pack house. She knew it would make her late, but she didn't care. Those two were going to try and talk her into this mate bond when she had her reasons why she didn't want to. She finally reached the door, took a deep breath, and knocked. She heard,

"Please come in Freya. You don't have to knock, Freya." Max said. Yes, she does. You are the Alpha's. She will be respectful and knock, thank you. Max frowned.

"Freya, you are our mate." Zack said. Stop that she's not your mate. She was being mean, but she needed them to back off before her uncle arrived, it will give her uncle the wrong idea about what she wanted.

She sat down, she was offered food and drink by Zack, she just answered water Alpha please. "Please, Freya, call me Zack." He asked. Erm, no, thank you. She'll stick with Alpha, saw him frown aswel. Max was just staring at her again. Is all that you do is stare at people? Were you raised with no manners? She was trying to p**s him off, but it wasn't working. He just smiled again.

"I'm sorry, Freya. What would you like to talk about?" Max asked. Nothing, she just thinks it's rude to stare. "Fair enough, my apologies, I'm insanely attracted to you, I can't help but stare at you." he responded. She knew her face was red again. Bloody men are going to try and sweet talk her into this mate thing. She just knew it.

It's was a long agonising 10 mins, then Zack broke the awkward silence. "Why do you teach history?". He asked. She looked at him for a moment and answered. She has always liked to learn about the past, She lived a long time, learnt a lot, and likes to share this knowledge. She likes learning about over non worldly creatures since we live in four different realms, and she finds it fascinating. So teaching it to others is just an added bonus.

She loves her work and not giving it up for anyone. She was making it clear. She won't be a lazy Luna, being waited on hand and foot. She's been to too many packs over the years and watched Diva Lunas with her own eyes. She won't be like that. She remembers her grandmother was strong and kind, and her pack loved her.

"We wouldn't expect you to, we like that about you. The pack will get a decent, kind Luna, the university student already loves you. " Max said. How do you know that? "Well, because you are new to the university, we get reports from faculty and students, and all have praised you." he added.

Oh, was all she could say.She didn't know that. "Yes its nothing personal against you but our pack is very important to us and we like to make sure everyone is happy and we normally ask the new professor aswel if she or he is happy with their job, students ect." Zack added.

Yes, she's happy with her job.The students are great, and the faculty are welcoming. She's never had her own office before. She won't have to take all the files home with her every night. Staff might think she nuts, tho now how she ran out of the faculty party this afternoon.

"I very much doubt it, I'm sure they've seen worse," said Max.

She was glad they all approved of her. It's the first university in a long time since she felt like herself, didn't have to make up excuses for how she was or how she looked. Everyone here knew she was a shifter and just accepted her for her. She liked it here, and the pack seemed to leave her be, didn't ask her a lot of questions. If it wasn't for her having mates here, she'd would be happy to stay here forever, but now it's ruined. She was lost in thought when her Uncle George mind linked her.

"You okay, my niece?" he asked. Yes, Uncle she is. "I'm almost here driving up to pack house now. I'll see you soon, breathe Freya. i can feel your stress. Everything will be fine. " He added.

It's easy for you to say you aren't mated to these two now. Are you. He laughed. "I'll be 5 mins have a drink. Calm down," he cut the link. Have a drink? like that's going help. If getting drunk would fix her problems, she would have done that years ago. No, she needed a clear head with these two.
