Blaze and Carlo’s men left the house with their masks still on as I escorted my sister to the truck, helping her inside. We left and headed back to Carlo’s compound. Once we were a good distance down the road, Blaze took his mask off and glanced at a scared Simone. “My name is Blaze.”
“I’m Simone.” She whispered.
“He won’t hurt you,” I said as her eyes got wide and she sized Blaze up. She then heard the sound of the bikes behind us.
“A biker gang?” Simone stuttered in shock.
“Blaze is a good man. He’s not like our father at all. He’ll take care of us.” I hugged her.
“What about Savannah? She's about to marry Nikolai Velnov!”
“Baby, I need to tell you something. Nikolai hurt her, badly. She’s with a doctor, and we’re going to take you to her. Okay?” I would explain everything
