My Bad Guy

15. Lollipop.

Rick's POV.

I was madly kissing her. It was like I totally forgot why I had called her? To be honest, I didn't think about any reason for calling her.

I just called her.

She came, we kissed. Passionately and now, I was angry, infinitely. 

The person standing in front of us was none other than my friend Sam. I don't know why he came into the library but as for as I doubt, it was an intentional entry.

Sam was looking at us and I just snapped at him, "What are you looking at?"

"Huh? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Even I didn't see anything earlier."

Sam explains himself. He looked at me and then at Sophia, who was standing, flushed and looking at her feet. 

"Ah! by the way, I am Sam, Rick's best friend." Sam forwarded his hand to her and she was also forwarding her hand. I quickly hold her hand back and asked Sam,

"Why are you here?"

"Well, to see.....I mean return a book." I knew instantly that he was lying as he fumbles when he lies.

"See or return?" 

"Return." He answered firmly.

"Return what? Book or your steps?"

They both looked at me with an expression of taken back. "Dude, can you calm down, and I am really sorry for coming and disturbing your time, but this is library bro. It's open for everyone."

"And everyone does what I say," I said firmly. I knew that Sam entered intentionally and now, I was ready to kick his ass, but before that, I needed to make him move out. 

But the next thing he said, made me immediately make my move.

"You know Sophia, if he gets angry at you, which I am sure he will be, then you give him a lollipop. He absolutely loves lollipops and on the other hand, a lollipop will make him shut his mouth." 

I moved forward and grab his neck and started to drag him out of the library. He started to shout, but not at me.

 "--and when he seems very much upset to you, just make him drink tea. He simply loves tea, like an old grandma. One cup water, one cup milk with two spoons of sugar."

I made my hold tight on his neck so that he stop saying but then, it's Sam.

"Dude, I know you love me so much, but I am not your girl. Don't hold me so tight."

I promise to kill him when I get alone with him.

I continued to drag him out until we reach the corridor. "What the hell was that?" I yelled at him.

"What? I thought it's necessary for her to know that you love lollipops." 

"And why do you think that I love lollipops?"

"Because once you had stolen mine from my bag."

"SAM! that was nine years ago when we were in the first standard."

This guy is sick. I yelled at him for referring such a stupid reason for his stupid act, which he did in front of Sophia.

"And you think you changed? No Rick, you only got taller than earlier."

What do I do with him?  This friend of mine had surely done serious harm to my image in Sophia's head. I really had never thought that this kind of thing can happen.

I punched him in his gut and he dodged it. He started to laugh and patted my shoulder.

"Chill dude, I was just being funny." 

"You don't really know what you did?" I said and Sam's expression immediately changed from happy face to worried face.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean that girl is good at making scenes, after this childhood information of yours, I have no idea what she will do?"

I became genuinely concerned about that. I really didn't know what she would do. The things Sam talked about, had happened in childhood but what if Sophia starts to do those things.

I really don't trust that girl's brain. It's already damaged and what if it gets worse. If it get worse, she would do something stupid which will definitely harm me. I need to fix this.

Making my steps fast, I made my way towards the library again, hoping she would be there. When I entered I saw the whole library empty, but then I heard someone moaning and kissing sound.

I walked over to see what was happening. Many thoughts started to run in my head.

I just left this place and now, I am hearing kissing and moaning sounds? Is Sophia with another guy?

I didn't know why I thought that? It just came to my mind that time. I step towards the noises and peek through the shelves. 

A guy and a girl were hugging each other too close and kissing each other madly. I wanted to see their faces so I quickly moved behind the bookshelf from where I could see. 

The person I saw was unexpected. It was Cindy.

I smiled at her. She claims to still love me and here she was kissing another guy. I moved from there and reached the same place where I and Sophia were kissing. 

She was not there. Of course, she would have left. I thought I need to find her and order her for not paying attention to Sam's word.

But it was good that she, herself didn't take my friend's words seriously. I took out my phone and called Sam. 

He answered my call and said in a girlish voice, "Yes darling, miss me?"

"Shut the f**k up bro. Where are you?" 

Sam laughed and told me that he was in the canteen. I made my way towards the canteen but then I crashed into someone.

"What the hell? Can't you walk properly?" I yelled at her. 

"Can't you see properly?" Who would talk to me like that? Yeah, you guessed it right. It was Sophia.

I was glad to see her. I wanted to meet her and tell her that she didn't need to take Sam's words seriously and there, I found her. 

I stood up from the ground and said, "Come with me."

"Do I look like your nanny or what? You always ask me to do something. No, I won't come," She pauses and made a face, and said in a very sarcastic way, "I won't change your diapers."

I gritted my teeth and said, "I. DO. NOT. WEAR. DIAPERS. NOW. YOU. COME. WITH. ME."

And I started to drag her again. 

"Hey, leave me. I am not a sack of potatoes to which you are always dragging."

She shouted at me and all I did was to drag her faster. We reached the end of the corridor when I released her hand from my grip.

"Now, listen first."

"What?"

She said while crossing her arms in front of her chest. I rolled my eyes at her attitude.

"Don't take anything seriously. Whatever Sam said was  a completely stu-"

I couldn't finish myself as she shoved a lollipop in my mouth, which made me angry instantly. I looked at her and she said,

"Now, what were you saying?"
