10 Hugh finished dressing and glanced up to find his father standing in the doorway, giving him the once over. “It is good to see you once again in our clan’s colors. But there's something missing,” Memnes said with a gleam in his eye. Hugh furrowed his brow at him. “What's that?” “One thing at a time. You’re overwhelmed enough already.” “I feel like I’m drowning,” Hugh admitted. He’d come pretty close in that shower contraption. “Come,” Memnes beckoned. “You’ll feel better once you’ve eaten.
