Chapter 7: How Time Flies

Three Months Later It’s been three months; Rai had been a widow. The first few weeks, everything was ok, there were people around and no feeling of emptiness in the loud house. As everyone started leaving, the emptiness grasped her heart more and more as she knows somewhere that there is no turning back to what happened no matter how hard she tries, the good time she had is not going to come back and she had to live with the emptiness in her heart forever the regrets she had. Without any further thought, she got up only to find the onions burning she concentrated on cooking. A Year Later The house was full of people and everybody had something to say about the amazing man Major Parth Dutta was and how well he served the country. Rai went around serving people food along with handling the baby that was on the move and very curious about the world now. It was the pooja one for Parth but Rai had no chance to sit around and repent on the loss of her husband as she had to serve the guests around. Her parents are also here sitting among people, probably the only people along with her mother-in-law to feel actually sad about Parth. After this tiring day Rai gets to bed along with her daughter, who takes up most of her time now a days this growing bundle of joy got her through the difficult times.
