Chapter 4: Birthday Ball Part 2

Pov Enzo

Shit, we were 30 minutes late getting to The Blue River Pack. When I was in the city with my brothers I got a faint whiff of the most intoxicating smell I have ever smelled. It was mouth-watering I instantly knew my mate was near. I couldn't go after her but I was hoping she would be at this ball. Was she going to break my stone heart by rejecting me... probably but I just wanted to see who it was and smell her again she smelled of wild roses after a fresh rainy day.

The birthday ball had started when we arrived. F**k the normally Introduced everyone formally I didn't want us causing a scene because we were late I get out of the car and I'm greeted but an omega "Good Afternoon Alpha Price and Young Alpha Hunter... welcome to Blue River Pack follow me this way I will introduce you." he said. I shook my head and took out a few bills and handed them to him and said "I don't want to cause a scene please just Link Alpha Diaz letting him know of our arrival and lead through a door without announcements." I said hunter Spoke "please" he added nicely

"Seriously Enzo I won't kill you to say thank you and please... stop being so rude." he whispered

The omega smiled and said "of course this way Alpha" he stated. Hey took through the kitchen door that they use to bring things in. I nodded my head I could hear Hunter thanking him... I head straight to the bathroom "be right back" I linked Hunter.

Once in the bathroom, I splashed some water on my face. I hadn't been back here in years Alpha Diaz and his Luna had been good friends of my parents. This was opening wounds I didn't want to relive. I took a few deep breaths and looked myself over in the mirror. My dark brown hair was combed over to the left side It was a bit purposely messy the sides were shaved down a bit. I had permanent darkish circles under my eyes they didn't look out of place tho cause I had honey-tan skin making my unique teal-colored eyes pop out a bit more.

I fixed the skinny tie I had on and went back out to find Hunter. I found him by the bar... I went over and he hand me a drink. Which I downed in one go. I looked at the bartender and gestured for 2 more whiskeys she brought it over quickly with a huge smile. I just grabbed it downed one and took the other I slid a bill over and turned back quickly. "So Hunt any luck?" I asked He shook his head "no pack this party does have a lot of loose women." he said looking a bit disgusted he was always the good kid. My mom always pushed for fated mates and I made sure to keep them on the same track. I downed my drink and got 2 more I did the same thing down one and Kept the other.

"Alright man well, we should probably find the twins and you know talk to them and the Alpha Diaz." I said he nodded

We start moving through the coward. I was being stopped left and right finally I told Hunter to go on while I greeted some Alphas. After I was done I excused myself and went back to the bar. Got the usual she filled them to the brim. Probably to avoid me. I was about to go find Hunt when this she-wolf came up to me she was wearing the shortest dress and heavy make. she smiled shyly "Hello Alpha Price, I'm Laura from Blue River... would you like to dance." she asked seductively

I was trying not to gag she smelled awful like several males. I looked at her and spit out in an angry tone " run along little girl... you are making me nauseous" I sneered. she looked horrified and ran off. I started to walk through the coward pushing out my aura to keep people from approaching.

When the smell hit my nose. I immediately started walking towards it. It leads me outside to the garden. Where Instantly stop and get angry at the sight it was girl hugging a young man. I stalk over and pull her from his grip "hey-" she started to protest I looked at her and growled "mate". Then I turned my attention back to the boy and started walking towards him. The young girl got in between us as I was about to beat this kid to death for touching what was mine.

Pov Sivya

I had enough inside I hadn't been in there long but guys kept coming up to me. Asking me to dance. Easton kept telling them to go for me. I even meet the young Alpha of Blood Moon he was surprisingly nice and a gentleman I talked to him and walked him over to Xan.

Xander was off with Amara in tow she kept she wolfs away. As soon as we got near Hunter Price got stiff and started growling I fall his eyes. It was Xander with his arm casually place on Amara's lower back.

"Calm down young Alpha... you have nothing to worry about there." I said with a smile

"Xander please drop your hand now and step away" I said through the link. He turned to look at me dropping his hand and stepping away from Amara. When we reach them Hunter immediately grabbed Amara and hugged her whispering "mate".

After he calmed I left him with Xander I need fresh air. I went out to the garden it was a beautiful night and the moon was shining bright. I felt some hands around my waist and a head on my shoulder. Easton.

"you had enough already" he laughed

"Yup, I can't take all those guys coming up to me." I said with a giggle

"Well let's get out of here and have ourselves a little party" he whispered in my ear. that sent a shiver down my spine I so badly wanted to give in to him. I sighed and turned in his arms wrapping mine around his waist. I kissed him on the cheek "come on East you know we can't" I said. he was about to reply when I heard glass Shattering and a massive angry growl. Suddenly I was being ripped from Easton's arms I began to protest when I got lost in a pair of teal eyes and he growled "Mate".

Wtf no... no there's no way abouslety not! The moon goddess would not make him my mate! I still felt the sparks that's when I noticed he was stalking Easton I threw off my shoes and ran standing in front of Easton just as he c****d his fist.

I closed my eyes and yelled, "Stop!" my hands out I felt energy leaving me directly at him. It looked like his eyes glazed and he began to calm instantly wtf. Instantly knew this was a new power one I didn't know I had. Few moments Xander and dad. Xander tried reaching me only for Alpha to growl. My dad Stepped Forward and looked behind me " Easton please back away and go inside." he said him a tight tone "Yes Alpha" he turned and left. Then came to stand next to me and looked directly at the handsome Alpha cleared his throat

"Alpha Price it's nice to see you again my boy... Well, you have grown up." he said and patted him on the back.

ALPHA PRICE as in the cold-hearted ruthless Alpha Of Blood Moon I was screaming in my head. Isn't he like 30! wtf no this can't be right.

"Alpha Diaz it's good to see you it's been a long time. This young lady seems to be mine" he said.

My dad looked at me with a small smile

"Excuse me I'm not anyone's! Alpha" I said yelling at him. I walked straight up to him and started poking his chest. "I'm a person, not your personal property," I said. I could have sworn I saw his lip twitch.

"Well darling welcome to the real world" he said "your mine... if I were you I would shut that pretty little mouth of yours and learn your place" he growled back at me.

I was literally about to kill him I was preparing for a fight. Xander noticed and wrapped his arm around my waist and

pulled me back tightly.

"Xan let me go. I'm going to kill him." I

growled back

"So are you challenging me ...darling?" he asked sarcastically with a smirk I thought I saw a fire in his eyes but he quickly changed that to anger.

I was about to yell back yes but Xander knowing what my answer would be clamped his hand over my mouth and started carrying me to my dad's office. I heard a growl and then my dad said to him

"Alonzo we have a lot to discuss those are my children and I can't say I feel comfortable with the way you just spoke to my daughter. She is very strong-willed and she didn't behave well either... I apologize on her behalf come let's go to my office " he ended.

WTF... I kicked Xander and bit his hand. he stumbled but didn't drop me his hand did fall off. I took the chance to yell "dad don't be apologizing to that a**tard on my behalf. He's an..." I was mumbling into Xan's hand.

"Sy will you shut the f**k up... please" he begged

We got to my dad's office Xan sits on the couch me on his lap hand still over my mouth. They hadn't arrived yet

He let me go and I moved next to him.

"Sy you can't act like that come on" he said

"Xan I'm a person I will not be disrespected and take it quietly you know this." I said.

"I know Sy but that's your mate." he said

"Not for long Xan... I will be rejecting him... he's a monster." I said.

They walked in I looked at him with hatred and disgust. I honestly thought I could see hurt on his face but honestly, I don't even think he can feel hurt.

He walked over and knelt at eye level with me he grabbed my chin I growled at him and he smirked "Calm down little wolf" he said and let go. I could feel the sparks all over. He got up and took a seat in front of my father.

Pov Enzo

Sweet Goddess, she is a firecracker. She didn't even flinch when her dad said my name. She even walked straight up to me and poke me in the chest. She didn't have a bit of fear... I'm 100 percent sure if her brother hadn't covered her mouth she would have challenged me. She also called me an a**tard... I can say that was a first. that almost made me laugh and I swear the goddess took her time in making her she was Stunning. Her eyes were mesmerizing. I'm also sure she does have some powers. will find out.

Her father said we had to discuss it and that it had to be in private. I do feel guilty about the way I spoke to her but goddess she pushed buttons and challenges me.

Right as we walked I heard her say "I will be rejecting him. He's a monster" she said and you could hear the venom she said it with. I wasn't surprised to hear her say I was accepting it what I was ready for was the pain I left in my heart her words truly hurt me.

Well, she going to reject me I wanted to get one last look at her eyes and feel the sparks of the bond. One more time smelling her sweet scent. I entered the office and she staring daggers into me. If looks could kill I would be dead right now. I walked over and knelt at eye level with her i grabbed her chin. She growled at me... cute I thought and I smirked "Calm down little wolf" I whispered

Got up and I went to sit in front of her dad. Alpha Diaz cleared his throat "Sivya please take a seat next the Alpha."

"no" she said After a few seconds she sighed and got up. Taking the seat right next to I wanted to reach out and touch.

"Xander...Sivya... this is Alpha Alonzo Price. Alonzo these are my kids Xander and Sivya Diaz" he said I stood to shake his hand "Young Alpha it's a pleasure" I said. Xander, nod his head "Can't say the same... Alpha Price." he said politely and shook my hand with more force than needed I squeezed but if he was in pain he didn't show it. I turned back to look at my little mate I stretched my hand out to shake it she was staring at me. Her dad growled she rolled her eyes and took my hand when she pulled back she purposely use a nail to cut the palm of my hand... I didn't even show pain.

"Oh for goddess sake... Sivya well you behave" he growled she looked him in fake shock "daddy I didn't do it on purpose you know I don't like fake nails I'm not used to them." she said and then she looked over at me "I didn't hurt you did i ?" she said in a mocking tone. "not even in the slightest," I said.

"Let's get to this Bastian I must get back to my pack," I said.

"Well bye no one is stopping you" Sivya muttered.

"Your stopping me sweetheart... our bond you will be coming home with me" I said.

"No I'm not because I don't plan on acknowledging this bond" she sat

Enough scream Alpha Diaz I don't think I've ever seen him mad before.

"Shut your mouth Sivya... You will be doing no such thing" he growled "The goddess picked you for him... and him for you. I have known him since he was a young boy. His parents were amazing people. I know he has a bad reputation but I don't believe for a second that it's true. You will give this a real shot and if After a year it doesn't work you two can decided what to do at this point but my word is final." He said

"Dad, how can you force me to do this? This means I have to go with him I won't have a family. I will be alone I have never spent time without Xander... what about Easton? " she cried. "Easton is not your mate Sivya and he still has a mate. Out there somewhere.

My heart hurt heart she was in love with the little boy... "At least he's my age dad... not 30 or 40 like Alpha Price" she said.
