Chapter 3: Birthday Ball Part 1

Waking up was a hassle I was being crushed. The smell of Cedar and fresh laundry let me know it was Easton. "Hey East you're crushing me I get up I have to go get my hair and nails done you know my mom has rules." My mom never pushed me to dress like a woman she always let me be myself but when it came to special events I had to look the part of a high-ranking alpha daughter.

"No" he growled "just a little longer" he whined

"No East I gotta go come one. If you want to spend the day together come with me." I said

Then I heard Xander "come on East let's go with my sister I need a haircut too and so do you." He said.

"Fine meet you guys downstairs In 30 minutes," he said and he let me go. I took off to my room 30 minutes wasn't enough. I skipped the shower I will do that when I'm back.

Throw my hair up in a messy bun. looked out the window it was a nice day outside So I chose to go a v-neck haltered crop top teal colored with some black high-waisted booty shorts and some high-top chucks... I skipped the makeup and grabbed a pair of sunglasses and lose fitting black and gray flannel.

I head to the pack house and decided to cheat a bit by grabbing some food from there instead of making my own. As I'm heading to the pack house. I hear some commotion then laughter and someone crying. I had to see what was going on.

I round the corner and see a young woman surrounded She was on the floor

clutching a dress that was now ruined and she was crying over it. While Laura and her skanky friends were laughing. Of course, they had to be picking on someone. I ran over and growled. They all looked up scared thinking it was one of my parents. Laura just smirked "well if it isn't the other loser." she sneered "this doesn't concern you, " she said in a dismissive tone.

This B**ch did she forget her place? I stood there and c****d my eyebrow with a hand on my hip. I use my Alpha tone "Oh Laura did you forget who I am and what bloodline runs through me" I said all of her little friends started to coward I faked a jump and they all scattered like frightened. birds. I took the opportunity to move in close and Grab her before she could run I forced her to look into my eye and compelled her. I told her to Apologize and forget this ever happened. She did as I asked and left. This was one of my powers I hated using it but I felt this was an appropriate time it worked on everyone. It was like an Alpha command but much more effective.

I bent down and offered my hand to the young woman I recognized her from school she was an orphan omega. I couldn't remember her name.

"hi, are you alright?" I asked she grabbed my hand and I pulled her up she just nodded her head she hadn't looked up yet.

"thank you" she whispered and finally looked up her eyes went wide and she bowed her head in respect. Our pack members knew better she must have come as a refugee. "Miss Diaz," she said.

"No please Sivya is fine. You know that's not necessary" I said she looked up and smiled "that looked like it was a nice dress." I said. She Frowned "I saved all my money for months to be able to get this for your birthday ball. I was hoping to find my mate tonight." she whispered

Those B**ches I smiled "what's your name?" I said "Amara Wilson" she answered. "Well, Amara I'm heading to the city to get my hair and nails done. Why don't you come with me? I'm sure we can find another dress out there for you." I said. "No it's alright I don't have much money left... guess this was my luck," she said

"It's on me... come let's get you cleaned up you can grab something from my closet." I said She started protesting but I just kept dragging her along and said "My mother would never forgive me if I just let you go." I said.

As we got to the Alpha House Xander was coming out. he looked at me with a worried look because I was practically

dragging Amara. "Hey, Xan I need a few more minutes before we go," I said

"Alright is ...um is your friend alright?" he asked

"Yeah, she's fine just shy" I replied with a smile.

Getting inside I was still dragging her to my room. When I heard my dad roar " Sivya what in the goddess did you do to that poor girl?! let her go right now!" he demanded

Amara was practically shaking in fear. "Hi, dad this Amara do you wanna tone it down a bit your scaring her... Laura and her shitty friends were not only bullying this poor girl but also ruined her dress for the ball. I told her to come with me to the city and I would get her all fixed up for the ball." I replied with a smile.

My dad smiled wide I knew he was proud of what I was doing. He came over and placed his hand on Amara's shoulder.

"Amara is it can you please look at me." he said She slowly looked and bowed her head "Good Morning Alpha" she stammered.

"No bowing it's not necessary for this pack. Is what my daughter said true?" he asked

She nodded her head "yes Alpha, Miss... I mean Sivya did help me." she whispered

"Very well I will handle this you have my word," he said gently He took out his wallet and handed me my unlimited black card. "Sy please make sure you get her everything she needs," he said.

"yes, dad," I said with a big smile. Amara had her eyes open in pure horror and shock and shook her head " No Alpha please this is too much I can't accept this . How will I ever pay you back." she said.

My dad wasn't going to have it he bent down to her eye level and said "this is a gift from the Alpha family you don't worry about paying us back. We have strict rules here and I will not let any of my pack members suffer. You are what 18... your mate may be at this ball. If you want to pay us back then find yourself a beautiful dress and come to the ball. that's all I want." he said

She looked up at him with tears in her eyes "thank you Alpha." she said he opened his arms to hug her but she hesitated "I'm all dirty Alpha I don't want to ruin your clothes." she said my dad pulled her into a hug "none sense a little dirt never killed anyone." he's said with a laugh. He let her go and told us to have fun. I took her to my room and told her to help herself and that I would be downstairs waiting for her. I walked back down my dad was grabbing a coffee to go.

He came over and hugged "I couldn't be prouder of you mija (daughter) you will make a fantastic Luna." he said and kissed my head "thanks papa (dad)" I said. About 10 minutes later Amara came down in a pair of skinny jeans and a long sleeve shirt. She smiled "thank you... I will make sure to wash these and give them back," she said. "what no you can have them. Don't worry." I said

We walked out and the boys were standing next to the motorcycle they chose over a car of course. I skipped over and said "alright let's go! oh right, Amara let me introduce you to my brother Xander and our best friend Easton. " Hello good morning Alpha, Beta" she nodded they looked at each other and then back at me they started laughing as did I

Xander looked at Amara and smirked. "nope no way it's just Xander or Xan whatever you want but not Alpha. and that A**hole is just Easton". He laughed

"Seriously f**k you, dude... Nice to meet you Amara no need for formalities... just East or Easton." he smiled.

"Alright, the closest city is about 4 hours but the way these two demons drive we should be there in about an hour and a half... Pick your ride, Amara." I said with a smile. She chose to go with Xander.

We were off I was right we had made it in less than 2 hours. We spent about 3 hours doing everything we needed. I got Amara new dress shoes and accessories. I also made her get a mani-pedi. she keeps saying no but I wouldn't take that as an answer. I got myself a beautiful necklace and Easton a very nice flashy Rolex he was my date after all. I finally convinced Amara to go with Xan he need someone to walk in with. We grabbed a quick lunch and head back to the pack house to get ready.

Once we got back to the house we all went our separate ways we had 2 hours to get ready. I made Amara come to my room.

"you can shower first or whatever you like," I said

"thank you," she said she was kinda just standing there looking awkward

"Amara you can sit with me I don't bite" I tease

she slowly walked over and sat on the couch. She stiffened I sighed " you want to tell me why you're being such a buzz kill," I asked

she sighed and frowned a bit "it's just uncomfortable. you have been so nice it's just not what you accept from an Alphas child... I mean your brother and Easton were nice too... it's just not what I expected that's all." she whispered

Ok, that was fair "you know I haven't had a friend that was a girl in a long time. It was nice to have you around. How about we become friends?" I asked

she smiled "you would want to be friends with a low-ranking omega? " she asked

"Sure I don't care what your rank is none of us do. We care for the person." I said with a shrug

"Okay yeah, it would be nice to have a friend,".she said I smiled and replied "dope". I looked at the time the makeup artist and hairstyles would be here in 20 minutes. I opted for a quick shower and she decided on a body rinse since they had washed our hair in the salon.

Once we finished I had her a robe no need to put our clothes on since we would be getting in our dresses. The knock on my door told me they had arrived. "Come in Paul no need to knock" I called He came in my long-time hairstylist and his makeup.

"Oh, Sivya darling! don't you look fabulous... happy birthday gorgeous," he said and hugged me. Yes is flamboyant and yes he was attracted to the same s*x. "thank you, Paul. Sorry I forgot to call and tell you This is Amara can you make sure she looks amazing tonight" I said.

He looked over and said "of course. Look at that natural curly so many ideas." he said clapping his hands. We took out our dresses so they base everything to go with the dress. An hour later we were done. I thanked Paul and said goodbye.

Earlier I had decided it was time for a change my hair was down to my butt I had enough of that. I had seen this modern cut I thought was amazing. I end up loving it. it was called the butterfly cut it gave a face-framing much shorted at the top and the longest layers at the bottom. It fell right under my shoulders. Paul chose to do a half-up half-down hairdo with just enough hair in the front to frame my face and beach waves at the bottom. it showed off ears which were perfect because I opted to use, Easton's birthday gift.

I had a full face of makeup but it was made to look extremely natural just highlighting my natural beauty. My dress was a dark Teal with glitter lacy that made me shine... yes if you haven't guessed it is my favorite color. It was a long form-fitting gown that had a high slit showing off my leg. It had a haltered neck plunging neckline. it showed hugged my curves perfectly. Topped off my look with some accessories and matching shoes. I looked stunning.

I looked over at Amara and let out a slight whistle at her. "Damn! you look f**king hot! you look better than me!" I noted and I smiled. She was In stunning dark maroon dress it an open back that fell low right below the lower back. It had a scooped neck. She had smokey eyes and dark maroon lips. A bun updo and black heels.

She was nervous and I told her not to be because she looked amazing!

We make our way downstairs the guys were waiting for us. I came down first Easton stepped forward he looked so handsome he was 6'2 he was fair skinned but had a nice tan closer. He was well built slightly smaller than Xan he had a strong upper body tapered waist amazingly toned thighs butt and calves. he had beautiful golden blonde hair that was cut short and spiked up a little bit in a messy look. ideally for his face shape and his beautiful hazel eyes. Easton was wearing a tri-colored suit his blazer is the same shade as my dress with a black collar. black pants black shoes... Crisp white shirt and a black bow tie that had teal polka dots on it. he couldn't

"you look amazing" I said to him hugging him. He grabbed my hand and gave me a spin

"me" he said pointing at himself "No look at you. holy s**t Sy you so so hot. I look like a bag of potatoes next you" he said with a smile his eyes full of lust.

I look over at Xan he's complimenting Amara. "don't you look handsome Xanny" I said with a smirk. He was in an all-black suit with a black shirt he opted for no tie and instead left the first two buttons of his shirt open. He was wearing the new limited edition Jordan's classic he hated dress shoes and suits. His hair was perfectly parted to the side and combed over no hair out of place

"yeah well you clean up nice. Easton is probably gonna try to get you pregnant tonight" he said with a smirk I turned cherry red. I grabbed a beer " aren't you hilarious" I said

My parents came down and took our pictures gushed over how amazing we looked and told us it was time to start heading in. I almost forgot I stopped the guys "here I got each a gift" I said I handed them the boxes Xan was excited I had got him a white gold cuban chained link bracelet crusted in diamonds. Perfectly matched the chain he loved to wear. "Sy thank you" he said Easton opened the box and practically screamed like a little girl. He's always wanted one of these watches. "Wow, Sy... I can I be your permanent sugar baby?" he said with a laugh. Come on boys we can't be late.
