Jason pov:
After the events of yesterday, the whole pack house has been a buzz. None stop talking about the accident. No one knows what exactly happened because Jen has yet to wake up. After i woke up we were no longer in the field and now in the pack hospital not sure on why we both passed out me and Alex swear time stood still we know we both saw the same thing, but when i asked her grandma about it she acted like she had no idea what we were talking about but i have a feeling she just didn't want people to know. I know wolves like her are sought after but we have always protected her whole family even down to the daughter who turned down her wolf. You see they are not like typical wolves where we can communicate with ours from a very young age and most are able to shift there soon after alphas sooner then most, but her line they have to choose to accept this life choose to accept her wolf. I have no idea what that even means but i soon intend to find out.
walking down the hallway i get some sympathetic looks and glances from other pack members but they don't say anything. I almost got to the office when i was mind-linked mom wanted us for breakfast. i wasn't in the mood to eat but i also wasn't in the mood to fight with her today, she is one tough cookie having to put up with us and our dad. as i wandered in the dining room i noticed instead of the normal loud buzz of the pack it was absloutly quiet, confused i look around and see my mom coming in with my dad and brother i think its time we have a talk and you two need to eat she says. Alex and I grab a plate a sit down eager to get this over with. We both have plans to go to the hospital after this. Mom started "is there anything you two want to share with me and your father?" exchanging a knowing glance with Alex, we decided it was best if we didn't fess up just yet. "Well no mom what do you mean?" she started huffing and puffing and mumbling things to her self scowling at us like the mad mom look would still work like when we were 6. but we decided it was our business and no one else's next came my dad "boys you acted very strange with the events yesterday and i do say not like alphas ready to take over a pack, so what is it?" Alex was the first to respond "how about how friend and classmate was in a horrible accident" "isnt that enough or do you two want to grill us further" knowing that would make mom feel guilty she hadn't even asked how she was doing before jumping down our throat, and with that we took our chance and left with out saying another word.
Nina came rushing in our room. "Can you give me a ride to the hospital. I want to see how Jen is doing and bring her grandma some food she hasn't left the hospital." We agreed, glad she wanted to go cause now she could be our excuse. Alex wanted to ask a few people if they had seen or heard anything about yesterday. There wasn't a breach that we were aware of or any sign of any other car involved, but i knew i would get to the bottom of this. The drive to the hospital took about 25 min from the pack house. There were so many visitors this week with our parents throwing a ball to announce our take over next year. Our sister was quiet as a mouse instead of her normal talkative bubbly self, and a part of me was grateful for that. pulling into the parking lot i told Nina we would meet her inside. I needed to call the sheriff and see if he had any news about what happened also need to find the pack doctor and see how she is doing. I need to know how she is doing she has not woken up since she came in. when they brought her in she needed some serious help the doctor was sure if she wasn't a wolf she would have died and even if she was a wolf she is a lucky one since not having her wolf. If she would even get one and for some reason that didn't make me as sad as i thought it would. i would love her even if she chose to stay a human. i wondered how Alex would feel but i had a feeling he felt the same. Still no answer as to how this happened and i was starting to worry she wouldn't wake up.
