Sarah took a step backward and glared into Joanna's eyes. "How dare you?" she hissed. "Are you challenging me?"
Joanna sneered and said, "Why not? You aren't special. You're just a spoiled brat. You think the world revolves around you, but it doesn't!"
Sarah was furious, but because she had always had everything given to her, she'd never had to fight for anything. Thus, she was at a loss for words. After a moment of awkward silence, Sarah made her hands into claws and lunged at Joanna. Unfortunately for her, Joanna saw it coming from a mile away, and she grabbed her wrist.
Joanna twisted Sarah's arm, forcing her to turn around. Then she pushed her forward and kicked her in the buttocks, which made her fall flat.
There was a loud smack as Sarah hit the ground. All of the breath was pushed out of her, and she began to cry. When the salesperson saw what had happened, she didn't know what to do, and she started to panic. She recognized Sarah as a famous movie star and the youngest daughter of Todd Devine. Thus, she couldn't afford to lose her as a customer.
The salesperson helped Sarah up. "Miss Sarah, are you all right?" she asked.
Sarah groaned as she found her feet, and she glared hatefully at Joanna. Then she turned, pushed the salesperson away, and shouted, "Piss off!"
The salesperson squealed as she fell backward a half step. What a b***h! - thought the salesperson. She had always hating having to help entitled brats like Sarah.
Sarah glared at Joanna. "How dare you!" she shouted. She raised her hand to slap Joanna, but once again, Joanna caught her wrist. And then Joanna slapped Sarah!
Sarah's eyes opened wide in surprise. "Joanna, you slapped me! I am going to kill you for this!" she threatened.
Joanna frowned when she heard Sarah's threat. In her previous life, Sarah had murdered her, so she knew that it wasn't an idle threat. That being said, she wasn't afraid of the other girl. Joanna had learned a lot while she was overseas, and she wasn't the same girl that she'd been in her previous life.
Joanna laughed as she grabbed Sarah's collar. "Not if I kill you first." Sarah began to cry as Joanna throttled her, but even the salesperson didn't move to help her this time.
Eventually, Joanna threw Sarah back to the ground. Then she picked up the blue dress, cut it into rags, and spread them over Sarah's trembling body. "Here," she said. "I think that after a few alterations, the dress suits you best. You are the perfect girl to wear these rags. Because you suck!"
Suddenly, Sarah's agent appeared, and her face turned white when she saw her client's condition. She bent down to help Sarah up and said, "Miss Devine, are you okay?" As soon as she was close enough to strike, though, Sarah struck her. She slapped her agent so hard that she lost her balance and landed on her ass.
Sarah kicked her agent and said, "You're just useless, now, aren't you?"
The sight of the two women sitting on the floor caused Joanna to burst out laughing. Then, once she'd regained her composure, she turned to the salesperson and said, "They're all yours. Good luck. You'll need it!"
As the salesperson began to help Sarah up for the second time, Joanna made her way to the back of the store to where the fitting rooms were. Unfortunately, when she got there, Olivia was nowhere to be found. After checking every stall, she called her friend's cell phone, but there was no answer.
Joanna ran to the cashier and said, "Excuses me. Did you see the girl who came in with me? When last I saw her, she was going into one of the fitting rooms."
The cashier thought about it for a moment, and then she said, "I think I know who you're talking about; the lady who tried on the ethnic style dress, right?"
Joanna nodded and said, "That's her. Where is she?"
"She put down the dress and walked into the mall," the cashier replied. "I couldn't tell you where she went after that. I'm sorry that I couldn't have been of more help to you. Is everything okay?"
"I hope so," Joanna said. She thanked the cashier, and then she rushed into the mall.
Joanna looked back and forth, but Olivia was nowhere to be seen. She tried her friend's cell again, and after getting no reply, she went to the Security Office to file a Missing Person report.

Two hours later, Joanna's phone rang. The call was from the Security Office, and when she accepted the call, she thought that the officer sounded frantic. "Miss Devine," he said, "I found Miss Hilliard. I have her here at the Security Office. Come quick!"
Joanna ran through the mall, and she arrived at the Security Office in a matter of minutes. The officer she'd spoken to on the phone earlier was waiting outside to talk to her, but she pushed him aside. "I want to see my friend," she said. "We can talk later."
The officer sighed and stepped aside wordlessly.
"Olivia!" Joanna exclaimed. "Hold on. I'm coming!"
"I'm in here," Olivia called back weakly. From the sound of her voice, Joanna worried that her friend might be barely holding on. And when she came around the corner, she was so shocked by what she saw that she froze in place. What did the hell happen? – she wondered. Olivia's condition was worse than she'd imagined, and she couldn't imagine who would do such a thing to such a kind person.
