A girl falls in love

I am going to be a freshman in school in a week. I get to meet my teachers this afternoon. I'm a little nervous for tonight because it's a bigger school then I'm used to. I go downstairs and I see my mom working on breakfast. I ask her if she needs help getting the table set she said yes please. so I get the plates out and silverware and walk over to the table and set it all nice. I moved the pancakes and bacon to the table. For my mom can relax before we have to meet my teachers. After we ate I did the dishes and took trash out. My mom was on the phone when I came back in with my dad I hear her say I see you tonight after we meet the teachers. Then she was off the phone with my dad and turns to me and say since we have to be at the highschool do you just want to go get a sandwich from the sandwich rustront here in town. I look at her like I was shoked because we never go out to eat. Then she looks at me and say I know we don't go out to eat but this is a big day for you and I would like to take you somewhere nice. I look at her and say yes mom it's been a while since we done something like this. We get there and sit and look at the menu to see what we want. Then I look up and see a lady that was ready to take our orders. I told her I want a coke and ribeye sandwich with a side of potatoe salad. My mom orders the same thang. When we got done eating it was time to head over to the high school to meet the teachers. my mom drived to the school and I look out my car window. I see a big brick building with a big sign saying welcome freshmens. I get out of the car and walk to the doors there is arrows pointing to where to go. I look at the paper that has all my class room numbers on it for I can find the classrooms. I meet my teachers one of my classes was on the fourth floor. One of my friends is in all my classes as we get ready to leave we say bye to the teachers. On the ride home my mom and I was singing to the radio in the car all the way home. We get to our house get out and went inside. My dad was home and was sitting on the couch watching TV. He looks at me and said how was meeting the teachers tonight. I look at him and said the teachers was nice and the school is so big. Then my dad's phone rings it's his work. My dad is a sergeant he's the best sergeant. He gets called out of town to other hospitals. Then my mom walks in and ask me to set the table for dinner. I follow her to the kitchen. I take out the plates and silverware out then went to the table to set it up nice. I even put the food on the table for my mom can take it relax. I sit down and then my dad was off the phone and came to the table to sit to eat. We get done eating and I cleaned the table and did dishes for my parents can relax. I got done and went to my room. I sit on my bed thinking about all the fun stuff I can do in high school. Then to take me out of my thoughts I hear a knock on my door to my room. I get off my bed and answer the door in front of me is my dad saying I got to go back to work I see you tomorrow night. I say okay dad be careful going to work. I walked down stairs with him and sat on the couch to watch TV with my mom. I looked at the time and looked at my mom well this movie is good but I have to go to bed. I go back up stairs to my room close my door. I went lay down on my bed. I finally got to sleep after an hour went by. It's been a few weeks now it's time for school to start back up. As I get ready for school I hear a knock on my bedroom door. I opened my door. I see my friend standing there asking me if I was ready . to go. I look at here and say yes let's go. We get outside there is her car we get in it. She starts the car and said we stoping by the coffee shop before school. We got our coffee and now we heading to the school. We get to the school and we see that the freshman meets in the gym after the bell rings. We go to our lockers to buy our bags up then stood around and talked to our friends. Then we got interrupted by the bell now it's time for the meeting. The meeting went quickly and so did the rest of the day. Since it was more about going around the room and saying who you was. My friend found me at my locker putting my book away. Then some girl came and talk to her and me about trying out for the cheerleading squad. We both love cheerleading and we take a flier and look at it. My friend said it's in a few days after school. I say yes it is let's go home before our parents gets worried she said okay let's go. We get in the car and start to drive home. We get to my house she said I can come in but I got to call my mom to let her know I'm staying over here for a few hours. We get in the house and see my mom and I ask her and shay use our phone to call her mom to see if she can stay for a few hours. She said yes and shay went to the phone. She got off the phone and said it's okay for me to stay. I ask shay what she wants to do she said let's go to your room. That's what we did talking about cheerleading. Then there was a knock on my door there stood my mom said hope you girls like some cookies after a long day. I looked at my mom and said thank you Then she turn and left us. Then before we knew it the cookies was gone and it was time for shay to go home. We walked down stairs and told my mom how good the cookies were. shay and I walked outside and said bye to each other. shay got in her car a drives away I went back in and asked my mom if she wanted me to start dinner.She said it's already done all you got to do is set the table. I walked to the kitchen and grabbed out the plates and silverware and walked over to the table. I told my mom I was done setting the table for us. she said okay she gets up and walked to the table I asked her where is the food at for I can put it on the table she said it's in the oven since it just got done. I get it out and take the foil off of it and see she made lasagna for us and it looks so good and smells good to. Then grabbed the garlic bread that was in the oven too. Then walked over to the table with the food she made. I set in a chair cross from her and asked her if dad was coming home tonight she said yes but late. Then we started to eat after eating I got up then cleaned the table off. Made a plate for my dad and put it in the microwave for him. My mom said dishes can wait I want to watch a movie with you before you go to bed. I said okay I'm coming the movie was step up 3. I looked at my mom and said that's a cool movie thank you for watching it with me. I got up and started the dishes since I got time to before I go to bed.
