Game of Love

It's the first day of the school year the university is full of energy and positivity. There are benners around the school welcoming the freshmens and returning students. Everyone is excited about learning and making new friends, but not Eros. Eros walks down the campus feeling anxious and nervous. As he enters the Psychology Building, he was at awe and immediately regrets his decision, "Why did I choose to enroll at this school? Everyone looks so expensive in their designer clothes and then there's me, looking scruffy." As Eros continues to walk to his classroom, he notices that everyone is looking at him. He panics and without looking where he was going, he bumps into someone. It was Ludos, "Hey watch where you're going!". Eros immediately walks out without saying a word. Ludos was pissed, “He didn’t even say sorry? Forget it, it’s the first day of school I wont let a small accident ruin my day.”  Ludos continued to walk to his class, as he opened the door he enoticed Eros sitting awkwarldy in the corner. Ludos sits besdies him, "Hey! Remember me?". Eros looks at him and said, "Uhmm.. Sorry but who are you?". Ludos lost his temper, "What you little... Ah just forget it! By the way are you new here?". "Yes, I'm a freshmen!". "Dude, why are you smiling HAHAHA! Well who wouldn't if you're talking with someone like me.", Ludos replied. Eros smiled, "Uhmmm..". "Good morning class!", the teacher greets the student with plesure amd goes on with the lesson. The whole duration of the class Eros couln't focus and always glances on Ludos. Ludos caught Eros looking at him. "Hey, are you okay?". Eros was speechless and focused on the lesson. As soon as the class ended Eros immidiately got up. "Hey dude! Where are you going?" "Uhmm.. I'm going to grab some lunch..", Eros awkwardly replied. "Do you mind if I join you? Well thinking about it you're so lucky to have a young and handsome man joining you for lunch.", Ludos replies sarcastically. Eros smiled and nodded but in the back of his head he was thinking, "This guy is really full of himself!". As they walk towards the cafeteria students around them looks at Eros with disgust. Ludos noticed it and puts his arm around Eros. Eros was shocked and blushed, "Uhmm.. could you..". Ludos shushed Eros. They sat down in a empty bench. "What do you want? Its on me", Ludos asked. "Uhmm. anything will do.", Eros replied. Ludos brought two bowl of ramen. "Uhmmm, Thank you...", Eros said. "No problem, I'm Ludos by the way, What's your name?". "I'm Eros". Ludos reached out for a handshake but Eros ignores him. Ludos just smiled and continued eating. There was a long awkward silence but Ludos decided to initiate a conversation. "You seems to be a very silent person..." Eros looks at Ludos, "Well for some silence means lonliness and isolation, but what do you think?". Ludos smiled, "You're a very quite person but very philosophical, I like that! You're indeed a Psychology student." "You're also very observant, I also like that", Eros replied. "You're also good in complimenting someone. You're not a loser like how other's see you after all." Eros was flattered, "Uhmm... Growing up I didn't have that much friend. I had one but he betrayed me since then I didn't trust anyone and kept my peace." "So you're not open for friendship?" "Well I've been conidering to socialize but its not that easy." "Do I a chance to be your friend?" "I'll consider it but do you want to be more than friend?" Eros replied sarcastically. Ludos got up and was flattered, he offers Eros a ride home, Eros agreed with pleasure. Ludos opens the door for Eros. "You're also a gentelmen hmm..." Ludos laughed, "Oh please, you don't have to point it out. My personality is as handsome as my face HAHAHA." "Ohhh, the confidence!" Eros replied. The whole ride Eros was silent he was thinking, "Ludos is a very kind guy, well setting aside his ego. Hmmm should I consider him to be my friend?... Nahhh.. he wouldn't consider me as one of his friend." Ludos leans towards Eros. Eros was shocked it felt like the world was slowly turning, he can feel the breathe of Ludos. Ludos pulled the seat belt. "We're here!" Eros lets out a sigh of relief, "I thought he would.. oh he wouln't!"` Ludos opens the door for Eros, "Thank you for the ride home and for the lunch Ludos." Ludos smiled, "Oh..., you're very respectful after all, no worries kiddo!" Eros hugs Ludos. Ludos was stunned and flattered, "Uhmmm. I'll see you tomorrow then!". Eros couln't believe what he just did, "W..What did I do? He would probably think I'm a weirdo a..and then he wouldn't come near me again. Ohh..great job Eros, you blew up the chance to have a friend!". Disapointed Eros walks inside his house and lays down on his bed. He had flashbacks about what happened that day. "I thought he would kiss that time, I can literally feel his breathe. OMG! What am I even thinking?! Eros focus... focus... And his smell, He smells really good... What the.. Eros! comeback to your sense!" As Eros was busy reminiscing he fell of the stairs. "Ouchh!! Could this day get any worse!" Eros heard a knock on the door. It was Ludos. "Hey Eros are you there? you forgot your wallet!" "Ludos! Please help me! There's a spare key under the mat!" "What happen!?" "I fell of the stairs, plese hurry!" Ludos huridly oppened the door and helped Eros to get up. Ludos lifted up Eros, their eyes met and they felt a sudden spark as if they're in a romantic movie. Eros who is in pain smiled as if he's okay. Ludos felt awkward and said, "What happened you're so clumsy!" "Ahh.. nothing I just slipped.." but in the back of his head he wants to say "I was thinking of you.. you qoute and qoute handsome boy!!" "You should be careful next time!". Ludos said as he patted Eros' head. Eros was speechless. Ludos slowly escorted Eros to his bed. "Where's your medicine kit?" Ludos asked in a concered voice. "It's on the bathroom under the sink." Ludos went to the bathroom searching for the kit. "What... he's very caring.." Eros keeps staring on Ludos as he is bandaging his foot. "Are you going to keep staring at me? I might melt you know!" "Uhmm.. I'm sorry it's just.. uhmm.. I didn't knew you know how to do this stuff." "HAHA Of course, I'm not only a good looking Psychologist you know, I'm also a good looking aspiring Doctor!" "Ohh please Ludos HAHAHA!" "It's all done, next time you should be careful. Don't forget to drink some pain killers to ease the pain alright? I'll be going home now!" "Ahh.. Ludos wait..!" "Yes, What is it?" "Uhmm... Thank you so much... Uhmmm... Friends? Eros extended his hands for a handshake. Ludos accepted it and smiles. "Take care of yourself! I'll pick you up tomorrow in case you need a lift!" "Sure! Take Care!"
