When I Met Him

Chapter 3

I nodded at his question. “I’m Toby, and this is Leo,” he introduced; I looked at Leo, he gave me a nasty look.

“I’m Scarlett.”

“Girl! Your name is as beautiful, as beautiful as your face,” he said with a smile; obviously, he was gay because of his voice and movements. “Anyway, why are you screaming?”

“There was a cockroach on my shoulder,” I said, disgusted.

“Oh! Those are our friends.” He laughed and said, I was disgusted with what he said.

“She’s the one to wash the dishes,” Leo said; he left us and entered the room on the left side of my room.

By the way, the room there belongs to him; they are supposed to be my board mates. The bad habit of that man was, “He’s really like that, rude. He seems to be constantly menstruating.” Toby said, laughing.

He pulled me close to the sink. “Wait, why am I the one washing that?” I asked when I remembered the last thing Leo said before they left.

“Actually, girl, in our 3times a day meal, so in the morning Leo always washes, and in the afternoon sometimes I’m Leo, but now you’re here to wash-”

“No! You used that cutlery, so you wash that, and I’m not the one who should wash your dirt.”

He raised an eyebrow at me. “Attitude? Anyway, it’s obvious from your actions that you’re rich.”

“I’m sorry, just think I’m not here, just don’t mind me,” I said. Then I immediately entered the room and locked the door.

I sat down on the floor.

I sigh. You can do it, Scarlett. I said to myself.

“Hey, Leo! You wash it!” I heard Toby shout.

I just lay down on my bed; I miss my real life.

I didn’t realize that I had fallen asleep.

I woke up because my stomach was shaking; I hadn’t eaten since I left the hotel.

When I came out of the room, Toby and Leo were eating, I was about to enter again, but I stopped when Toby spoke.

“Girl! Come eat with us; I’ve cooked a lot of dishes.”

I shook without looking at them. “Thank you-” I was surprised when someone took my hand and pulled me.

“Ay girl! Don’t be shy; think that we don’t have him with us” he pointed at Leo, who was eating.

I just bowed down because I was ashamed of what I had done before.

I looked at their dish; I swallowed when I saw what it was. “Aren’t you eating dried fish?” maybe Toby noticed me.

“You’re going to stay in this place; then you can’t eat that dish.?”

I looked at Leo because of what he said. “Oh! Let it go; you want canned food?”

I stand. “Thank you, Toby; I’m not hungry yet,” I said and went back into my room.

I couldn’t stop crying, I did have money, but I didn’t know what to do; I wanted to go out to buy or order food, but they might be offended.

I sigh. I should be able to buy what I need tomorrow so that I don’t have to suffer like this.

Why is that Leo so rude to me?

When I woke up, I took my bath towel and soap, shampoo. When I came out, I found Leo waiting outside the bathroom. I bit my lip when he turned to me; when Toby came out of the bathroom, he immediately smiled when he saw me. “Girl! Goodmorning, will you take a bath?” I nodded, looking at Leo as he lifted a bucket of water into the bathroom. “It’s dry now, so you need to pump water to take a bath.”

“What?” I was stunned by what Toby said. “But?-”

Toby shrugged. “This is the place you chose, so be patient.”

I looked at Leo because of what he said. “Don’t mind her, girl. Wait, I’ll get dressed first, then I’ll go with you to get some water.”

I sigh; I’m just waiting for Toby; it looks like I’ll be tested here, uh.

When Toby came out dressed, so I couldn’t help but take the bucket out of the bathroom, Leo came out of the bathroom just in time. “There’s more water; maybe that’s enough for you,” he said and went straight to his room.

“What?” I was stunned by what Toby said. “But?-”

Toby shrugged. “This is the place you chose, so be patient.”

I looked at Leo because of what he said. “Don’t mind her, girl. Wait, I’ll get dressed first, then I’ll go with you to get some water.”

I sigh; I’m just waiting for Toby; it looks like I’ll be tested here, uh.

When Toby came out dressed, so I couldn’t help but take the bucket out of the bathroom, Leo came out of the bathroom just in time. “There’s more water; maybe that’s enough for you,” he said and went straight to his room.

Toby peeked into the bathroom. “Didn’t you take a shower, Leo?” Toby asked; I frowned at what Toby said, I looked at Leo’s door.

Maybe he’s just really saving on water. “Take a bath,” Toby told me, so I went inside the bathroom.

I was surprised that there was still more water in the big bucket; my thinking just shook me. He can’t be kind to me right away; I noticed the small size of the bathroom; it’s also here if you want to poop.

My eyes widened when I saw underwear hanging.

Omygoosh! Whose underwear is this? Shoot, why did I think to live here? I didn’t even ask who my roommate was.

After taking a bath, I felt the sticky water I used to take a bath on my skin. All right, I’ll get used to it; just be patient.

When I came out, Toby greeted me immediately. “Are you going somewhere?” I nodded at his question. “Do you want me to accompany you?”

I smiled at what he said. “Is it okay?”

“You know how to smile; of course, it’s okay. Get dressed; after you eat; it looks like you haven’t eaten since last night.”

So I went into my room and got dressed. While I was getting dressed, I noticed that I had brought only a few clothes. I didn’t even bring my favorite clothes.

Leo and I looked at each other when we went out of the rooms together. “Girl, are you Scarlett Anderson?”

I turned to Tony’s question, “Huh? No, why did you ask?”

“I chatted with my friend, he’s an employee of a big company, and their boss doesn’t seem to be in the mood because his boss’s daughter ran away. That’s what they talked about in their office, and you have the same name as their boss’s daughter, “Toby said while he was busy looking at his phone.

“Uh, that looks rich compared to me. Toby, just come with me tomorrow. I need to go somewhere,” I didn’t wait for Toby to speak; I left the house immediately.

What a small world! They can’t know that it’s me because they might tell dad my whereabouts themselves.
