  *Max’s POV* She stopped moving when I pulled my fangs from her neck. Her breathing was shallow, but she would live. Good thing too, I definitely didn't need the press all over this. As I headed home I swear I heard the sweetest sound, along with the most delicious smell. I stopped mid-jump, trying to pin-point the smell and music. They led me to a Walmart exit. I bumped into someone and sparks shot up my arm. A beautiful, exotic, creature stood before me, a nice dark complexion, dark black hair, and piercing purple eyes.  “I’m so sorry ma’am!” she said. “Wow. I look like a girl?” I asked her. She turned beet red. “Joking, joking.” I said quickly. “So you are a girl?” she said slowly. “Yep! Max J. chaster, at your service.” I said as I bowed. Her eyes widened, and she froze, as she understood what I said. “The, Max J. chaster?!” she asked. I nodded. Why me? I heard her think. “Please, can I talk to you?” I said as I tried to gain control of the burning urge to mark her. I stepped forward, sensing that she was scared. “What’s wrong?” I demanded. She wasn’t focused on me though, but behind me. “J-j-justin?” she sounded terrified. I turned around and said, “what the hell do you want from my wife?!” I hissed angrily. “Wife?” she asked. I looked back and winked. Justin looked pissed. He tried to punch me (keyword: tried) and I kicked his ass. He tried to fight back a couple times, but he kept getting knocked down by me. “Stop!” she cried. “Stop! Please…” I moved away from Justin to comfort her. She cried into my chest and I held her as she clung to me tightly. “Why did you help me?” she asked through her sobbing. And why am I so drawn to you? She thought to herself. I decided to go with a half lie. “Because I’m deeply in-love with you.” that wasn’t a lie. “For how long?” she asked bitterly. “Ever since I laid eyes on you.” she looked up at me and sighed. “And how long has that been?” she asked, barely holding back her sarcasm. (this is where the lie comes in for all you slow ass people who *rolls eyes* apparently don't know what the hell is going on….. How unfortunate.) “two years.” she sighed again. “I refuse to be another conquest.” she said moving away. “and I refuse to let you leave me.” I pulled her back to me and kissed her passionately. She froze for a second then gave-in. After she pulled away for air, I said, “goodnight, my sweet.” and left.
