Chapter 4

Aria's POV :

Ring......

I shut down alarm and got up from bed. I brushed my teeth and took a shower. I changed into white crop top and blue jeans. I wore my black converse and took my backpack then went downstairs. Everyone was sitting on dinning table. I took a seat beside my dad and greet everyone good morning. My mom served me some pancakes with chocolate syrup.

" Good morning honey did you sleep well" Mom asked smiling.

" I slept well mom" I replied. I finished my breakfast and got up from chair.

After saying goodbye to my family I walked out of house and went in my car. I reached near school and parked my car in parking lot. I got out of my car and went through school gates. When I was walking I felt eyes on me but I ignored it.

So many students in our school talk about me and my friends. Because we are only group who doesn't get involved in anything. We don't go to parties, we don't get drunk. It's not like we are boring but we love to hangout with each other.

I walked in my first class and took a seat beside Mia. We were talking with each other when Alex walked in with Sasha. Mia looked at him and he was also staring at her but Sasha grabbed his arm and started walking towards back. When Mia noticed me staring at them in confusion, she quickly looked away. Just then teacher entered our classroom. What's happening between Mia and Alex. I will ask Mia later.

After class ended I said bye to Mia and started walking towards my next class. It's maths. I sat on my usual seat. Someone pulled out chair next to me. I thought it's some girl. But when I looked up I saw Xander smiling at me. I looked at him with wide eyes. Why he is sitting with me?

" Hey Sweetheart how are you " He asked grinning. I looked at him in confusion. I looked behind me if anyone is standing there but no one was there.

" Why are you sitting here" I asked him. It's not usual thing of popular jock to sit in front.

" Because I can sit here" He said smirking. I was going to reply him but I heard familiar voice. Veronica.

" Baby why are sitting with this nerd? Let's go we will sit in back and have some fun" Veronica said seductively. I wanted to gag. How can she think about doing something dirty in class. It's so disgusting.

" How many times I told you there is nothing between us" Xander said clenching his jaw. He is looking angry. His angry face is scaring me. When he looked at me his eyes soften. Huh.

" Ok if you don't want me it's your loss" She said and started walking in back of class swaying her hips.

" What is your name sweetheart?" Xander asked me after Veronica walked away.

" Stop calling me sweetheart and my name is non of your business" I said annoyed. Why is he here? Everyone is looking at us. Some girls are shooting daggers at me with their eyes. I never wanted attention and now everyone is looking at me.

" Ok so non of your business tell me about yourself" He asked me. Is he making fun of me?. i***t.

" That's not my name it's Aria" I told him.

" Now was it hard to tell me your name " he said smirking. He is so annoying. Mrs. Brown arrived in class and started teaching. From the corner of my eye I can see Xander is still looking at me but I just ignored him. Bell rang and I got up from my seat but before I take one step ahead Xander stopped me.

" Now what do you want" I asked him annoyed.

" Nothing Angel just going to say bye don't miss me so much" He said. He started to lean in. Oh god is he going to kiss me. My first kiss. I closed my eyes then I felt soft lips on my right cheek. I opened my eyes and looked at him with wide eyes.

" Bye Angel " He said smiling and walked out of class. I was standing there for 5 minutes with wide eyes and mouth open.

" Close your mouth Ari or you would catch a fly" familiar voice snapped me out of my thoughts. I saw Lizzy is standing in front of me. Looking at her expression I can tell she saw whole scene.

" Let's go Ari your lover boy is already gone" She said teasing me.

" He is not my lover boy Liz, I don't even like him" I told her. But I know she didn't believe me.

" Ok ok as you say. But you two will make cute babies" She said. She is going to tease me whole day.

We walked out from class. All classes were boring. It's lunch time now me and Lizzy went towards Cafeteria. We saw our friends sitting on our usual table. We sat down and started talking with each other.

" You know Xander kissed Aria today" Lizzy suddenly said. Emma spat out her strawberry smoothie and Mia is looking at me with wide eyes. I face palmed. This girl can't keep her mouth shut.

" HE WHAT?" Mia yelled. I shushed her.

" When it happened Ari" Emma asked me.

" He didn't kiss me on lips. He kissed me on cheek" I explained.

" Ari don't tell me you like him. You know how they are right? He will just play with your feelings. They don't care about others but themselves" Mia said. Now I am really curious why does Mia hate them. I mean she is not the girl who will say bad about anyone.

" No I don't like him Mia" I told her. She just nodded to show that she understood. Now I have to find out why Mia hate them.
