Chapter 6 “Bertrand?” Maggie’s spine ached as she sat up. “Bertrand?” Something flew toward her with a rumbling whoosh. Maggie rolled sideways, gritting her teeth and hoping she wouldn’t fall down another chute. With a thump and a grunt, the something landed next to her. “Bertrand?” Maggie said. “Inexuro.” A tiny flame flickered to life in her palm.
