Chapter Twenty-eight
Faith’s eyebrows fell in concentration as she rolled the flavors around in her mouth. The tartness of the raspberry concentrate was a bit much, but then it was tempered by the incoming chocolate, then it was completely taken over by the incoming chocolate, which turned into an avalanche of chocolate flavor.
She rinsed out her plastic sampler cup and shook her head as she glanced over at Libby and Tad, who waited expectantly for her score. “I’d give this one a four, honestly.” She chuckled as their faces fell. “No, it’s a great flavor combination, just way too much chocolate.”
Tad, hip thrown out and hand perched upon it, raised a carefully shaped eyebrow. “I told you, Libbs.”
