Chapter 5

263 Words
Mason went inside Jason's house. No one was home. He timed everything perfectly. He went over to the stove and turned on the gas. He was wearing gloves, so there won't be any fingerprints. He then shut all the windows and locked them tight, so the neighbors won't notice something is happening. His job was done and so, he left the house shutting the front door tight. He was lucky no one was around the house. He had a hoodie over his head, the whole time. He dug his hands in his pockets and walked home, keeping his head down. Fifteen minutes later, Jason arrived at his home, looking happy as always. It would be his mother's birthday the next day. He couldn't wait to put some flowers near her grave. His mother passed away last year, in her sleep. His father has abandoned him and had become one of the Dragon Serpents. Jason opened the door to the house and stepped inside. He closed the door and locked it. He then threw the keys on the counter and took out a cigarette. He found the lighter on the couch. He took it. And flicked it. That was the end of Jason Pope. The news reports have claimed that the cause of the fire was a gas leak. The police identified the body in the house. They said it was a boy, whose name was Jason Pope. No one knew it was murder. Only Mason and Anna knew the truth. ############################## How much do u guys like my book? Please vote, and comment
